Made this yesterday, got every ingredient and it turned out perfect.
Added a little extra chilli powder to make it a little bit hotter and it was amazing.

I tried this today and followed the preparation instructions exactly as shown on the video - the result was absolutely amazing and delicious. The only difference I made was that I cooked it over hot charcoal instead of in the oven. I will be making this again soon and many times in the future. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe.

nongspencer there's nothing like charcoal grill. You did right by using this method rather than using, an electric oven. The smokiness of the the former is unbeatable. Cheers

Made this today, did not have ajwain, so put methi in the second marinade instead. Had to use sunflower oil and mustard powder instead of mustard oil. Turned out great and very tasty. PLease note: mustard oil is not allowed for culinary use in Europe due to cancer scare, can only be used externally for cosmetic use.

i can't *wait* to get the spices so i can make this. i'll be checking out the rest of your videos soon as i've heard so much about the healthy effects of real indian cooking!

I made these today and they looked absolutely amazing and tasted delicious !
I added a few extra things to the recipe:
1 tsp Coriander Powder,Kasuri Methi and a little bit of red food colouring.
I also wanted a charred taste to the chicken so instead of baking the kebabs in the oven, I broiled them ( Heat coming from the top coil). Before broiling, I put the chicken pieces on the the skewers and lightly charred them on a high gas flame on the cooker. This is what gives the really good charred taste. After they had charred I broiled them on a metal grill rack in the oven to cook the chicken all the way through.

Chef, do you add mustard oil for the taste or the colour, or to help the marinade stick and improve texture? I added probably half of what you did and I found it very strong and overpowering. Would you recommend using peanut oil?
