Tag team matches would be so sick, but i think it's more easier said than done, you can't just put two bots together and expect them to work together perfectly, both teams will have to develop new strats, there's also gonna definitely be new combat rules and a scoring system, how are the tag teams gonna be formed, will they draw through lots, or will each team choose which team they wanna partner with, what about international teams, how do you expect them to train with American teams, if they team up with one, will the teams remain the same, I think it'd be cool to have the same team for two seasons and switch them after, how will the fights go, is it gonna be like wrestling where one tags one out, or do all tag teams just go at it, if so, there's guaranteed to be friendly fire. Not saying it shouldn't happen but there's gonna be a lot of work to do before the perfect formula is created
Yes, it's was pretty fun and it was in a way that encourage the opponent rather than making fun of them… not like others that threats their opponents of cheaters and garbage… (9_9)
Alex's adaptability and strategic shift mid-battle were impressive. She turned the tide with precise control and aggression, showcasing her potential as a top competitor. Excited to see how she evolves in the sport!
Mate one of them major point categories is damage she's literally versus a robot that can't damage her I don't know why I watch these when microbots are so much more interesting
@@RekySai I wouldn't say Claw Viper couldn't damage Hypershock - did you see the damage it did to HS's right wheels? Maybe Viper doesn't have an 'active weapon' like HS does, but being able to pick up bots and ram them into walls at _that speed_ would damage almost any bot lol
@@RekySai You'd be terrible at this with how much you underestimate robots like Claw Viper; there's been non-damaging robots in the past that have absolutely manhandled and overwhelmed highly damaging robots. P1, which only has a front hinged lifter managed to beat Valkyrie AND Hypershock in season 6 very convincingly. Heck in season 5, Mammoth even beat Copperhead and Tantrum beat Bloodsport despite losing its disc weapon. Even Beta won against Rotator without ever using its weapon once in its fight.
LOVED how the two drivers were chatting pleasantly after the fight, obvious admiration on both sides. Hypershock def got in some wicked hits with their spinner, Claw Viper did an amazing job surviving!! Those two are SO closely matched. GREAT FIGHT! GREAT WORK FOLKS!
I actually think Alex might be a better pick to drive Hypershock versus control robots. She got some amazing shots off on a robot thats basically impossible to predict like Claw Viper
Dude, Clawviper is just getting better and better even if it did lose. Hypershock is a tough opponent! Both drivers did awesome in this fight. I have to say that Clawviper is probably the most dangerous bot that doesn't have a spinning weapon.
But isn't it also the only competitive without a spinner.. Even maybe the only non spinner at all? (ok ok 2 Flippers which also loose too much) Sad development in the sport over the years😢
There are two types of fights that make great entertainment, a fight where drivers display amazing control of their bots, and a fight where pure carnage and destruction happen, this falls into the former and both drivers did not disappoint, amazing fight. I was rooting for Claw Viper, Kevin got me so hyped, I was honestly hoping for him to clutch the win, but great showing, nonetheless
This whole fight is a solid argument for exposed wheels. They were almost always making contact with the ground, allowing Hypershock to slip away from Claw Viper multiple times
@@conniee. I used to be for having wheels protected, but protected wheels also have the flaw in that the protection can be buckled in and jam up the wheels. It has cost some robots' fights
Hypershock is the bot that got me into Battlebots when it took out Warrior Clan with just a garden rake. I'm so glad to see it winning this match, even though I love Claw Viper's speed and control ability. The robo suplex never gets old.
What a terrific fight. Claw Viper’s growth has been outstanding. And it’s always a pleasure to see Hypershock dialed in, that thing is a monster when it actually works as intended.
An incredible performance by both Alex Bales and Kevin Milczewski in this rematch. Both bots looked as good as they ever have, with Alex's driving adjustment into a more point-and-shoot style stealing what looked like an almost certain win away from Claw Viper and its insane hit-and-run grapples in the first half. Easily the best fight of the episode, maybe the best fight we've seen in Champions so far.
THIS is the fight we should have gotten in ep12. I'm so glad we got this rematch. Action packed 3 minute fight, I was on the edge of my seat this entire fight. Hoping to see more of claw viper in future seasons
One of the top fights I've seen in the last few years. Great sportsmanship and an amazing fight. Really awesome how fast and responsive both C.V and H.S. were this slugfest
Ah man i thought this time Claw Viper finally got it But still congrats to team hypershock and its really amazing that Hypershock and Alex are starting to blend well with each other unlike Will who driven Hypershock in years 😂
When I first saw this episode, I was hoping to see Hypershock vs Shatter!, instead of a rematch with Claw Viper, but in retrospect, I think we got the better fight out of it. Don't think Shatter! would've given as good a fight as Claw Viper did here.
Claw Viper getting ripped apart and Kevin still shouting out to Alex for more and to keep going, that's some grade A quality sportsmanship. Dude knows that, unless he gets a lucky break, he's done for, and still keeps going, all the while encouraging his competitor.
Woah!! Two fastest robots face each other!! Hypershock is like the Detroit Lions of the Battlebots and Claw Viper is like the New York Giants of the Battlebots!! 🤯🤯🤯
easily one of the most iconic battlebots fight ❤🔥💥 a display of the evolution of speed in this show give it a few more years and it'll start to look like those mini robot sumo fights lol
That's what I was saying. They don't even need a heavy spinner, just a durable one I see they have issues even getting a grapple with the current config. Whereas for spinners you just have to hit them At this point it feels like a spinner is better at scoring aggression and control points than a lifter
a spinner would make claw viper much less maneuverable bc of the gyroscopic forces it would create. Plus, a spinner would be heavier than claw viper's current weapon system
Anyone else wanna see a Hypershock vs Riptide rematch with Alex driving now? I honestly would enjoy this, especially if Riptide hit the ceiling this time. :P This episode was hands down THE BEST of Champions II! And I'm not even biased because of the overall winner (who I shall not spoil). :P But honestly, the sportsmanship, the fights, the action?? Ugh, everything was just worth the wait.
Claw viper has came so far, it’s always had the speed but the durability and consistency of the drive is exceptional now, any other season those hits would have knocked them out in seconds but it really is a fast, aggressive tank of a bot now and it’s driven by a madman so even better! Great match
Just a great fight, on all sides! Both of them always were just "those bots that also participate" to me, just there, not great but also definitely not bad, but this fight changed that for good.
If this fight proves anything, it's that we need tag-team matches and Hypershock & Claw Viper need to be TEAM SPEEEED
I dunno why there aren't any tag team matches in Battlebots, i think it would be fun.
Tag Team matches would be SO SICK
Claw Viper and HyperShock vs Ripperoni and Monsoon

yeah but then you miss seeing Claw Viper snap to the floor with its magnets at about 1:24 lol
we love you joeyjohnsanchez5350
Wow claw viper went up at the end of that fight. You see the flicker of the flame inside and the men ran in with the extractor hose
Love claw vipers' drivers' energy. Aggressive and competitive but not in a disrespectful way

Claw viper and hypershock are truly Battlebots version of The Fast and The Furious.
This whole fight is a solid argument for exposed wheels. They were almost always making contact with the ground, allowing Hypershock to slip away from Claw Viper multiple times
Yeah, but the HyperShock team needs to think about protecting their bot's wheels too now that they can see the vulnerability of the wheels. 🤔👀
