7 COMMON REASONS A PET MAY BE SHAKING:
1️⃣A pet is in pain and they're shaking. Such as Arhtirtis, Acute back injuries, (Slipped discs or IVDD). Or a knee injury or A dog is shaking and in pain and lifiting their hurt leg. - If this is the case, go to your vet.
2️⃣Tremors due to a seizure that could begin or mild epilepsy that is coming and going or a brain tumor. In this case you dog can be normal and then you see them having the shaking event where they stand still and shake or tremor. - If this is the case, go to your vet.
3️⃣Heart Disease can cause shaking. This is because the body has poor circulation and the dog is feeling weak. - If this is the case, go to your vet.
4️⃣Your dog could Simply be cold! IF a puppy got a bath and isn’t dry they will shake because their cold. Or small breed dog's they get cold and shake. Keep them warm!
5️⃣Toxicities!! A dog that ate a cigarette bud! If you suspect a toxin, please take them to a vet right away as toxins are time sensitive.
6️⃣Muscle weakness in older dog's! You could get them some NSAIDs for pain to help.
7️⃣Anxiety, fear, or even happy excitement can usually make a pet tremble or shake.
