Mine is on the truck and I'm waiting for it to arrive. But I do have a concern... I have the Pixel 2 and have trouble with it recognizing my fingerprint. I suffer from tremors and it is very hard to keep my hands still. Is there any other way I can get the phone to recognize me? Quite often it will time out because it can't read my finger prints. Help?

Saying it's better than the XL because it doesn't have the notch is a stretch. You can hide the notch and have a larger Pixel 3.
Huge smartphones suck to me, i always prefer the compact version of a phone, never the "plus"
You definitely can hide the notch and yes you're also correct, the screen is still bigger even with the notch hidden. That being said, the bigger phone is definitely not as one-handed friendly as this phone and hiding the notch doesn't fix that problem. So I think, ultimately, if you don't like the notch, get this version.
Based on your argument Chase, don't get it for the size, not the notch.

The camera is insanely BETTER than that of my iPhone 6s. The photos that I take easily compared and even outperform some of the top-tier phones. The speakers on this phone are loud and very nice. The battery life is much better as well. I usually go to bed with 20% of juice left, but if you want something that last longer I would recommend the Google pixel 3 xL. Especially if you are a heavy user. I missed iMessage for a couple weeks and then I got over it lol. I don't have trouble sending GIFs or receiving pictures from friends who use iPhone. The only thing I don't like is that the camera only has 2x zoom, which isn't much to work with, if you want to take long range photos. Other than that I was very impressed by it's performance.

Go for a ticwatch...pretty cheap on amazon and you get better software than samsung

How does the screen quality compare to the s9? How are the color reproductions? Pixel 2 and pixel 2 xl had horrible displays.
John John As for what I’ve heard pixel 3 is greatly improved from 2 however the s9 might be a bit better

No I have the pixel 3 and it's not cramped for me but ,if you have huge hand then the xl would be the better option and block out the notch with software.

The Xr and Xs shouldn't even be on the list, the Note 9 is more of a work/school phone if anything. For daily use it would be a tough battle with the Pixel 3 and S9.
I found out I don't use many things on a phone . Just youtube , facebook , twitter , chrome , camera , music .. that's all. So pixel 3 is perfect for me .

Why is everyone so concerned about a notch !!! At first I didn’t like it either but after some use I don’t even notice its there anymore! I have the iPhone X’s max and love it !

Everyone is really complaining about how easy it is to SCRATCH the screen and the back of the phone. BAD BAD BAD
The screen should be fine and for the back just put a skin of it does scratch easy
The only other problem I have a pixel phones is you’ll turn the brightness all the way up And it still won’t be buying another one in joke if you fix that I might consider switching to you in the future but I would rather get either a Sony phone or a iphone or VIVO phone just for that problem alone suck it Google

Idk, as someone who has been getting just about a new phone every year, and have opened many Samsung's and am currently on the note 9 which has the best build of any phone ever, I find myself caring less and less about how hot a phone looks (as long as it isn't terrible) and more and more about the fluidity of the user experience

Do not buy this phone. Go for the 3xl if you plan on buying one of the 2. The screen on this one was manufactured by LG and it is trash. Looks grainy just like the 2xl. Already returning mine after receiving it today.

Don't mention that phone.....it's a copy of Apple and Samsung devices or hadn't u noticed...there's not one single idea that's new.....Face ID curved screen and they're asking 1k fo it....and the expandable storage is a joke...it needs a card that doesn't exist. It's a Frankenstein of a phone.....then they made that other one with a stylus .....BTW I don't know about you but how many phones do you intend to buy.....believe me if I want an iPhone I'd get an iPhone if i want a Note I get a Note not some overpriced mashed up Chinese version.

@@flicka25 copying has become a standard in almost all industries. Apple does the same and obviously samsung as well. As someone mentioned innovation is no longer the game. I simply think Huawei executed the all in one quite well, I mean we're all waiting for that perfect device that holds all feature like; design, battery, highest resolution, dual speakers, top processor, Quick Charge, water and dustproof, best camera, indisplay fingerprint scanner, 3D scanner,and such....
So far it seems to deliver all that and more.
I truly believe though many apps are executed fully and in the most perfect way only on iPhone to this day. Ironically I've been using Samsung devices since day one and I'm an Android fanboy still as you said facts! 😎
As someone that owned a Huawei, I do have to say that they have really nice convenient features, but a lot of the stuff in the phone looks like Apple. Like they straight up copied the look of the settings, messages, camera, etc. Idk how it is for the newer phones, but this caused me to feel as if the phone is extremely cheap and unoriginal. It's like going to a Chinese store and finding all the fake look-alikes, but a phone version.
