    The building is an architectural nightmare but other than that it’s probably a pretty cool place.

    Can you buy just t rex exhibit without it including admission? Because I'm planning to buy Toronto city pass?

    • @glasbo
      @glasbo  Год назад +2

      Yes! Use your CityPass to get into the ROM and then you can buy admission to just the t-Rex exhibit right outside the doors of the exhibit space. You’ll see a small kiosk on the left hand side of the doorway to the exhibit space. There’s also a museum employee there to help.

    I first went to the ROM when I was four years old. The mummies were horrifying. Don't know what my parents were thinking.

      Yes I’d say the CityPass is worth buying. Good savings and includes some top attractions. If you get a presto card (metro card) you can save money on stuff too.

    Hi.. did u get a copyright claim for this video because when I am creating for ROM I got a copyright . I wonder why?

    • @glasbo

      You may have gotten a claim if you used music that you don’t have a license for or if your camera captured any audio that is copyrighted.

    Seems a lot to do with kids!😅

    • @glasbo
      @glasbo  Год назад

      Yes it’s a lot for kids. We brought our stroller which helped for sure. I think we were there for about 4 hours but we really took our time and saw every single thing plus ate lunch and did the extra t-rex exhibit. If you wanted to hit the highlights only you could do it in half the time.

    I'm looking forward to my upcoming trip to Toronto next month and visiting the ROM is on my itinerary, I expect it to be on par with the MET in NYC. The only thing I'm not looking forward to is that awful crystal shard addition that replaced the Queen Elizabeth terraced galleries. I'm under the impression that the rotunda facing Queens park no longer serves as the main entrance and that you have to enter through the Bloor street entrance now. Either way, I know I'm going to enjoy it.

    • @michaelanthony9588
      @michaelanthony9588 17 дней назад

      I might be answering too late, but the old entrance is now the new entrance, so you will in fact, walk under the rotunda as you enter. Hope you enjoy your stay.

    The ROM is using it's display spaces a lot better than they used to and have brought out a lot more items from their very extensive collections. And museum gift shops are the best places to get unique purchases. Thank you for the video!

    • @glasbo

      There’s several parking garages near by. If you check out google maps you’ll see some within a 5-10 min walk. We parked near bay and bloor and took the underground path which comes out to street level just across the street from the rom.

      Final Cut Pro X. I started out using iMovie and then moved up to fcpx. It was a pretty easy transition. What are you using currently?
