    Nice. I wonder if you could fabricate a roller for the front of the machine you could put down and drive with enough ground force to simulate the plate tamper since you are able to weld. It was funny to run in to you asking questions about dump truck weight this morning. Your last name kind of sticks out. LOL.

      Hey thanks for the comment! They do make some vibratory rollers for skid steers, but i dont think they do for the smaller ASV mounting plate. I could definitely build a static roller, but not sure how much it would help not vibrating, maybe I'll have to find out! That is funny you caught this video after commenting about the truck, but glad you found me, hope you can subscribe!

    Thanks for the video. I think you could have made it longer by not going so fast at the end when spreading the gravel. Folks would watch it real time or like 2x speed.

      Thank you so much for the comment! I really appreciate the feedback. I am going to start doing less Timelapse and try to do more video of working. Thanks for watching and stay tuned for more to come!

    HOW do you like your terex skid steer ? They seem to make a very reliable product !

    • @NealORussa
      @NealORussa  2 года назад +1

      I really like it! I ran that machine for about 3 years. I recently upgraded to an asv rt40. Which is very similar design. Asv and terex bought eachother back and forth a few times.

    What kind of stone is that your using in the drive?

    How does that Terex pt30 work for you? I’m looking to purchase one for small brush hog and grading jobs.

    • @NealORussa
      @NealORussa  2 года назад +1

      David, the PT30 works great! I have a lot of videos using it for grading as well as brush cutting - Check out my channel! I have a 42" Erskine cutter for it. My only upgrade at this point would be a suspension seat or move to the new ASV rt-40 which is comparable size, but stronger machine with more lift capacity.

    Good work man how many Tons do you put in the trailer it’s that a 14 feet? does driveway look like new

    • @NealORussa
      @NealORussa  3 года назад +2

      Hey thanks for the reply! It's a 14'x7' trailer with 2-7k lb axles. It weighs about 3500lbs, so it can take 5.5 tons. You can also figure in some weight on the tongue. I usually ask for 5 tons at the quarry and I have gotten up to around 6.2 when they overfill me. But I usually run between 5-5.5 tons.

      @@NealORussa Pretty good man I also have a dump trailer but I don’t do that many Jobs with it I am always caring my small skid steer wood Mulch dirt but never rock so I was curious about it

  • @paconnell3

    How many yards do you usually carry in your dump trailer?

    • @NealORussa
      @NealORussa  Год назад +1

      It's hard to calculate yards because all material has different fluff rates etc. I carry 5 tons of gravel. I usually load it down with dirt pretty heavy and I'd say there's probably 6-7 cy loose or 4.5-5 cy compacted.

    • @paconnell3
      @paconnell3 Год назад +1

      Thanks…I try to stay around 4-5 myself. What is your email, so I can request your land plane drawings? If you don’t mind…

      @@paconnell3 I don't really have any plans or drawings for it. There are some good notes and details in this video I made for it. ruclips.net/video/DWhy-xlhsO0/видео.html
