Fun day at the watering hole!! Although you might need to watch out, something really big and thirsty has been there.... To all, nice flying. Good stuff Adam and Heidi. AirHammer out!!
YES!!! I'm so stoked to watch this episode on repeat... at least until this stupid hurricane passes. Then, I'll see if I can get my Cub to do some of the ridiculous stuff I've seen here. 👍
WoW , This video was super good and enjoyed the entire 23:49 of it. The Huskey seemed to do good, Dustins Evo's one floater touch and goes will have me doing them LoL, Steve's Bison well (BR549) Surprised the Valiant was even in this group of (Bush Planes). Going around the tree was 5 star video footage, Bobbles,Doinks, and Crashes was great to throw in because it is the reality of bush flying. Flying any where near trees often has the tree magnets and tree fairy's mad so they snag a plane or two. Again Super Good,
Thanks Tug! Glad you enjoyed it! You know its funny, when I can stand close to my landing spot and judge it better, I almost never doink one. Standing far enough away for good video...another story. Lol.
Funtastic!! Think I have become a bush funaddict with too 2 many . In favorite order: TT Evolution, UMX TT Evo, Maule M7, FT Freedom Fox, MRC Bison. Keep em rubber down and STOL on . . .
Thanks Robert! You have the same addiction we do with STOL/Bush planes...just counted, we have 9. Lol. They are all different, and we like them all for different reasons. Great genre in the hobby! Say, how does your Freedom Fox fly? We got one of the original batch, and it didn't slow down worth a hoot. Stalled and dropped the wing violently at times no STOL plane should?? Gave it to a buddy to tinker with, he had no luck either. I'm a huge Trent Palmer fan, I wish it had flown better. Maybe we just got a bad one?
A really nice, fun video. Heidi did an exceptional job!!! Loved the super slips. I gotta say, I think you have an exceptional gift for staying just barely away from the trees. I don't think my depth perception is nearly up to the task! I loved the Valiant joining in. I think that is one of the very best little planes ever. It has so much versatility for aerobatics. When I am doing rolls it seems so effortless that I almost feel like the plane is full of helium. All of your planes continue to look brand new. But I can see that you really have put your Husky to the test this time. Good show.
Thanks very much! I have to say, we put the Husky through more than intended. I have very good depth perception as a general rule, but this time I got a bit too close! The Valiant really is floaty...I'd like to see an updated version.
EPIC, absolutely epic my friend! What a GREAT way to start my day, drinking coffee while watching a bunch of friends enjoying their RC Bush Planes!! Proves that flying high wing Bush Planes in a challenging location ain't easy, but MAN is it fun! Thanks for taking us to the field brother!
What a great video. Thanks for bringing the husky out. Thats my favorite plane. I have the ultimate and love it. Working on my slips but nothing like you guys can do. I put 3 in. Dubros on my valiant also, kinda have to living in oregon. Works awesome. Yes eflite needs a v2 of that great plane. Big tires, lights and a top loader and 4s power. That would be a seller for sure. Thanks again. Love the bush planes. Over and out.
You sir have good taste! I love my Husky. Everything about it is fantastic, if you replace the tires with inflatables, and the wheel pants pop off any time the suspension flexes, but its a really nice sturdy design. I have the 5S version and its got power for days. Its got those huge control surfaces that make it do just about anything you'd like. At 1.8m its really quite large, and the foam quality is first class.
Thanks Sno! Yep it is a great plane for sure. The gear is really tough...we put it through it this time. The covers popping of annoys me though, I may find a solution. I wish the wire was a "normal" shape instead of having that funky C bend in the front wire, then I'd just leave them off.
Awesome video. Its great when a group of pilots gets together to push their flying and repair skills.. Really enjoyed watching the slip between the trees and of course the blooper takes.. Great stuff Adam and Heidi... Thanks.
I particularly loved the slip diving landing approaches with the Husky! What a beautiful plane! ❤ Great flying, Adam! I’ve enjoyed the video a lot and motivated me to finally get my Night Timber X repaired.
That was a fun video and great places to fly. The Husky is a great airplane, I had the special which was the 5S version. I prefer the FMS PA-18 Super Cub 1700mm, it feels lighter in the air to me and a lot of fun but not as pretty as the Husky.
Glad you enjoyed it Tony! We have the FMS Super Cub as well, but ours is a good bit heavier than stock because of the wheels and other mods we incorporated to mimic Greg Miller's Javron Cub. We will feature it in the next bush flying adventure.
Great 👍 Flying Adam and Friends - I have to comment specifically about the super high quality nature sounds that you inadvertently recorded. I sounded very dynamic from my IPhone 13.
Very pumped after watching this video!! Have always noticed how much you use the rudder control on your videos. What a perfect way to illustrate and teach that!! Also, how you use the elevator during ground navigation to keep the tail from coming up. Really impressive doing the side slip manuvers coming around the corner!! I must set up a challenge course to learn this. Any ideas? Add in the wind we seem to always have here in Lubbock and it would be a great learning experience. Do some more of these videos please!!!
That is awesome! Glad you enjoyed it! Yes sir, slipping is a very fun/useful skill. It is for sure easier to judge when you can stand closer to your target area. getting a lightweight profile 3D foamy (like an Eratix) and learning to harrier is a great way to get comfortable with cross controlling.
You gotta love them bush planes, not sure if you ever flew or have the Draco bush plane, I would love to see you fly that bad boy around! Cool video. ☠Semper Fi
Great video Adam, really enjoyed this one. Only thing missing and it's well into the danger zone, I want to try waterskiing a plane, wheels on water like they do with the full scale ones. Perhaps once I get the rest of the trees cleared along my pond I'll give it a shot 🤪
Thanks Chris! DUDE...I so want to try it! I think with the rubber tires like Du Bros its possible, but I doubt foam tires will work..too much friction. We gotta try it.
What a great spot for flying Bush planes!! Looked like a blast!! Great fun video 😀👍Adam I did drop you an E-mail a few days back, but haven't heard from you!! So was wondering if you didn't receive it or its gone straight to the spam folder!! I'm away now for a week on holiday but I will be able to access my e-mails if you fancy letting me know if you got the e-mail 😀👍
@@ModelAV8RChannel Maybe try the fms 1300mm super cub wheels on it they are 120mm (4.7in) and are extremly soft and you can inflate them $20 on their website.
This is better than any 3d flying! Super video and ask for more, I don't know what the legal case is in the USA with bush flying, but it seems that for real aircraft it is more legal than for models?
and I dream of this Husky, unfortunately I do not yet have the necessary skills and space to fly, as well as a large enough car so that I could transport it without disassembly.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it! Lol, no not really. There are places you can and can't land with both. It's actually pretty easy to find a place to bush fly a model, get permission from the land owner, and let her rip. RID only adds turning on your module.
Great flying in ground and water, even if you had a nose overs due the ground. Fun to watch, truly a master class.
Thanks Chris! Fun times.
It's a pleasure to see you guys flying..ditching..breaking landinggears..and before all...HAVING FUN! I enjoyed it very much ! Thumbs up from Belgium.
too much fun 🤣 great times ! tnx....
It was fun for sure!
There is nothing cooler than watching a forward slip in a tight area and seeing that rapid decent to the deck
I agree. I love a good slip!
Great footage! This is how I like to bush fly. It’s the whole point of a bush plane. Flying on floats is the absolute best fun for me.
Thanks! We get it...and love to do it!
Fun, fun, fun... all day long. Fabulous video, Adam & Co.
Thank you miss Gina!
Fun day at the watering hole!! Although you might need to watch out, something really big and thirsty has been there....

Lol...yeah maybe a T-rex! Thanks man, glad you enjoyed it!
Great video. The bush and some planes makes the day. Nice spot and good flying. Have a nice weekend all of😊 you.
Thanks very much! Have a great one as well!
Lors of really great flying and STOL maneuvers. Love these vids!
Thanks brother David! You need to come out and bush fly with us...bring your F-14.

Glad you enjoyed it Al! Fly that Cub like you STOL it...see what I did there...Lol.
I wish I had a few buds with RC bush planes… Great 👍 Flights
Thanks very much!
The right far back CG too prevent from nose hitting landings seems to be crucial xD And a couple of boots too.

Even if Bush flying doesn't improve your piloting skills. It'll certainly improve your plane cleaning, if not repairing, skills 👍
Yep Al, it will improve a lot of things...whether we like it or not! Lol.
