Cleet can drive, fly, do anything he is just simply a natural at anything. There isn't many people like him. Same with sports or whatever some people are just natural's and he is pretty hard to beat!!!! Awesome video loved every second of it! Happy Holidays!!!
Every single time I try and fly one of my RC planes without doing the simulator for a night first I crash my plane. The control inversion when coming and going is not like riding a bike, if you don't use it, you lose it, unless you've got thousands of hours. EDIT: You know, nothing here showed signs of being out of practice, but my comment stands, but definitely wasn't applicable here!
Helicopter guy here. Orientations is the biggest hurdle in anything RC. Tail in. Nose in. Nose in inverted. Left side. Right side. Right side inverted. There's never a case when all the controls are backwards. Always one direction that stays the same. Learning which is which is expensive. lol
so what i do when when its been awhile is turn my body in the direction that the flight is going, so my head is towards the aircraft and my body is facing away when it's coming towards me this way the orientation of your controls will be intuitive. Try it it might help.
I guess I hit a point where it just clicked… I don’t have a ton of hours. I have great places to fly though. My biggest issue I’ve had is when I don’t pay attention, and it gets too far out of site. I can see it, but it becomes a riddle of knowing if it’s headed back vs away. Flying mini foamies (the 3dx gyro stuff is super easy) really helps with orientation as you change the orientation many times through the flight with such a tight AO.
You guys show what having fun is all about. Sam had a smile on his face that Ajax couldn't get off. You all were like kids in a candy store. Merry Christmas to the entire McFarland Race Team and families. "Little Rippers" first Christmas.

I ordered a sledge cause of you! It was raining today and I can’t wait to rip it! Ran it in the basement and it’s not for the beginner😂 wheelies like nothin! They only do 70mph with the optional gearing tho. When I watched I thought it was gonna do that but 55+ on 6s is good enough to get used to! Thanks garret! Appreciate everything merry Christmas to you, your wife and your new born son!
Nothing says Christmas like R/C!!!! For a 4WD they sure flip over, is there some kind of switch, that had them in 2wd only? They sure look like fun, but I like the 3D of flying been doing it for 40 years. I gotta say that was certainly nothing close of a beginner R/C and you did better than 80% of the "pilots" I have taught with a newbie plane. Impressive...is there anything you cant do? Super great video!!! Looks like the MotionRC/Freewing version, but one of them has functioning bomb drop doors too (Banana Hobby). That nose ding is a $4 part...retracts are a simple glue fix..so not too bad! If I might give you a suggestion on landing it, bring it in low under power. At ruffly 30 foot distance till landing threshold (Runway) kill power and slowly input up elevator and let her settle in and softly land. Practice makes perfect! And don't forget you must register it (actually you) with the FAA now, new rules soon to be in effect, so stay up to date with current regs. You mentioned flying it at FF, you will need a 14 CFR part 107 to "legally" do that as that would be a commercial flight due to your "Status" as RUclipsr and Pay Per Views, so heads up. This video with flight shown is actually in violation with FAA if you don't have the proper credentials. Not trying to be a downer, but the FAA is essentially destroying our hobby and it is about to be much worse soon...don't want to see your channel and you get nailed by the idiots!
That is the biggest problem with the Traxxas Sledge. They are full-time AWD with no adjustment for bias. They are pretty much only good for doing jumps and dont hit nowhere near 70mph even with the gear change(sold separately), i called Traxxas to see what was up because even on a downhill slope paved road it maxed out at 65. Arrma For the win because their cars are way cheaper and much more capable for racing
@Michael Smith i know 3 people, including myself with a Sledge, and we all tested it with a GoPro hero 10 and GNSS. All 3 were between 60 and 65 with the high-speed gear installed. Gotta love how Traxxas always way oversells the capability of their cars/trucks
@@Dukes3677 Well they actually did that years ago. You can still fly under a "recreational" provision which is what is considered hobbyist. But any flight that is for gain or profit or used as such whether intentional or not at time of flight is considered a commercial flight and as such you have to have the proper certificates as I have outlined. Even worse is now they (FAA) wants transponders installed on all R/C aircraft so they can track who you are, where you are. The regulations now are only getting worse and by next year they really implement some strict policy's. You may own your land and home, but the government owns the air above it. So actually you can't even fly on your own property. It's gotta quite a mess over the last several years. I mean a little kid who gets a toy from Walmart actually has to register it now in most instances..there is a weight clause though.
Rc hobbies are a great way to fulfill a passion, usually in a bit more cost effective way 😎 I learned I gotta stick to stuff that stays on the ground for now, myself. Haha
@@goosenotmaverick1156 same here. I’m mostly a crawler guy, but I do a little bit of everything, so long as it’s ground based. I tried flying and unless it’s a brief flight with a ground unit, I’m no good at it. Lol

I can only dream of doing stuff like this if I owned my own business or had my own team. Seriously. This entire video is the shit that I dream of well shit that I WISH I could do. And I would do. That’s a promise, if I was part of a tight knit group/team like y’all, this is what strengthens the bond and the team work. Makes everyone WANT to work harder and always WANT to do better. Even now I do what I can and what I can afford even if that’s asking my coworkers, EVERYTIME I go to the gas Stetson or everyday right before I clock out and go home, I always ask if there’s anything they need lol with. Like today I bought my coworker a nice big ole QS pack of beer and he kept telling me "you didn’t need to do that. You didn’t need to feel obligated to buy this…." But like he helps me every single day with being the 2nd pair of eyes or if I have a question about something I’m not familiar with etc.
This is cool dude. As you can plainly see, no matter what the age, the child within us always stay young. It sure did gave me a smile on my face myself just like those grown up men recieving presents from Santa. Thanks for sharing, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year everyone.
absolutely badass Christmas present to the team, those sledges are tough! That cone came out of nowhere, the b2 looks epic flying!
You know the plane is going to hit the first cone, obstacle or tree near runway.
Watching George wheelie-fling his bumper clear over the back of the car never gets old! Merry Christmas guys!
Grill*
It's so cool to see all the guys together having a good time! It is easy to see you take just as great of care of them as they do you.
The fact that Sam got one of those beast units to enjoy is just so freaking heartwarming.
I'd love to see a legit RC race around the freedom factory
Cleet, Thank you for doing what you do for us, and your employees... It's heartwarming to see you do all of this for them. I'm running into some personal problems around this time this year, there's a lot of moving parts to it all.. But lets just say you remind me of the early days of my childhood... when things were good. how things are supposed to be. it reminds me of what home should feel like.
It's about time George gets to be at the sales person he was born to be. You need to utilize this guy more!
Such a flexible good hearted character imo
I love how sam is always included in everything the boys do together man it’s so wholesome to see 💯
sam is the best man, hes so nice and humble and is so thankful of everything he is given
I'm just going to put this out there for those who may not know, Ariel RC anything (6 channel or more) isn't easy AT ALL! Major props to Cleetus on that maiden flight!
It is when youve got safe
And that landing ... Dude knows what he's doing.
I want to say we've seen him with a (much smaller) RC plane in a previous video? I think? Even so, that landing -could not- have been better! Hashtag not a pilot :P
That was a class move young man. Your crew will never forget you for that. Proud of you. Merry Christmas to all of you.
That's actually pretty impressive that you flew and landed that rc plane on the first go. That isn't easy at all.... That's probably an expert level plane.
As someone in the hobby, I do not think this is his first plane.... lol
He Flys these and helicopters as a hobby
Yeah, flying brushless ducted fan planes are the best.
@@Chevette924 Makes sense then lol. Ive been looking into this hobby and seen it can take lots of hours to do. Although, I am looking into the nitro rc heli/electric heli side.
@[RAR]Chevette just said similar lol. What an epic flight arena too.
Cleet's the type of guy i used to love to work for instead of someone that just tosses you a Christmas bonus he goes out and takes the time to get his workers items that he knows they will love and will enjoy way more than a few hundred bucks, much respect "Giraffe down" Merry Christmas to all!
This is why I love this channel. When a channel makes you feel like your a friend and your their with them even though your behind a computer screen, it's a good channel to support.
It has to be such an awesome thing to be a part of this team. It seems a lot more like a family. Congrats to the success lately Cleet, happy holidays!
You're a good guy Cleetus! Merry Christmas everyone have a safe holiday season!
That plane looks so badass doing a flyover, it's going to be awesome at the Freedom Factory events!
17:14 ... I love how the landing gear virtually 'sings' in harmony chorus style.
My face hurts from laughing so much!!! And then the B-2 into the cone……..was George in control?😂😂😂
It didn't wheelie, so you know George wasn't driving! 😂
Me too and very jelous of the plane and sledges
does your heart hurt from the blood clots?
All you guys playing with the RCs looked like pure joy
RC’s are so much fun. You feel like a kid again. I strongly recommend you buy at least a hobby grade RC car and get started figuring out which part of the hobby is most fun for you. Some love cars, boats, planes, snowmobiles, etc. you will love something.
Hope to see you post your own videos of your fun.
@@truenewsglobal helicopters are hell. never
@@truenewsglobal yeah i had a traxxas revo about 12yrs ago, full carbon chassis, rods, titanium brace, 3.3 motor, the works. I forgot how fun it was
i love sam. such a humble wholesome guy
That RC bomber is awesome!!! Nice landing as well, great job Cleetus
I love the fact that Cleetus can do literally anything.
As soon as I saw rc cars I knew it was about to get wild
Fr dude he does drift, drag, circle track, burnout comp, boat races and all that other stuff he’s hella talented
"Cleetus Drives Everything"
Coming Spring 2023
Simply insane insanity, just what I expect; After a full 2022, 2023 should be even better,Thanks Cleetus and crew for all the shenanigans and for letting us accompany you on your life journey even if on a limited scale.
probably the best video ever made
Nah 2 Girls 1 Cup still a banger
@@thescout4313 ahaha
Cleet can drive, fly, do anything he is just simply a natural at anything. There isn't many people like him. Same with sports or whatever some people are just natural's and he is pretty hard to beat!!!! Awesome video loved every second of it! Happy Holidays!!!
Don't forget the sprint boat
its cool to see you taking care of your folks big ups happy new years
You can’t trust a guy who tucks in his sweatshirt. 😂😂 Uncle Sam always bringing something new to the table.
Dude I absolutely Love Sam. Talkin out the RC car and havin enough room at the house. Makes me miss my Pah
Just a good ol boy
I haven't laughed this hard in a long minute happy holidays
dude same I died laughing when he deleted that cone .1 seconds after take-off lmfao
Same!!!🙏🏻❤️🌲🎁💯💪🏼
I smiled the entire fricken time. Made my day.
Funniest moment on the channel yet 😂
The rc car when he fell😭😭😂
Sam has got to be one of the most humble people I've ever seen.
I agree,I have the Horizon Real Flight 8
I picture myself in the Plane, like I'm sitting in the cockpit, sounds silly but it works for me.
Absolutely legendary. What a blessing it is to work along side cleetus...
9:06 look at em' smile.. so precious...
You guys show what having fun is all about. Sam had a smile on his face that Ajax couldn't get off. You all were like kids in a candy store. Merry Christmas to the entire McFarland Race Team and families. "Little Rippers" first Christmas.
I honestly do not know how people thumb down a video like this. Cleet is a great guy you can just tell by the way he treats his team. They are all a special bunch of guys with more success in their future. God Bless yall and Merry Christmas
They accidentally hit the button. I do it often, but usually realize it and undo it.
Wait you can still see how many dislikes videos have? I haven't been able to see it in months...
@@zacharyjohnson1792 I think there's an extension you can download for your browser that will show dislikes
@@derek10w Oh dang. I'll need to get that. Thanks!
@@zacharyjohnson1792 yes it's an extension for Chrome. There maybe others not sure. Right now it has 365 dislikes. Honestly Cleetus has one of the best youtube channels on youtube. Probably some of the Street oulaw gang LOL..jk IDK but whomever it is must be eat up with jealousy.
Sam is definitely gonna have himself some fun with the RC car, he seemed pretty excited with his new toy. 😄
Regardless of the crash that flight was totally BADASS..SOUND TOTALLY REAL👍👍👍👍🤟🤟🤟
Gotta Love Rc Cars! This was an Awesome Gift to your Friends Cleet!
Merry Christmas to the whole crew, thanks for all the laughs during the last year guys.
It's always fun seeing R/C on the channel. Participating in the long jump at cleetus & cars was awesome!
38 comments a minute into posting sooo insane! Your fan base has grown so much since I found you cleet!! Keep doing it for Dale brother!
@@This_Guy1 The Traxxas Sledge does go 70 mph........ in a free fall.
@Michael Smith i know 3 people, including myself with a Sledge, and we all tested it with a GoPro hero 10 and GNSS. All 3 were between 60 and 65 with the high-speed gear installed. Gotta love how Traxxas always way oversells the capability of their cars/trucks
That's insane the FAA is taking away rc planes and making them "commercial"...
Really appreciate all the bigger channels giving attention to the RC Hobby here lately, it doesn’t get any better than that! Happy Holidays Everyone!
Lol
I just love Sam. He's such a good guy. Makes my heart happy that he gets included in everything.
I swear Sam gets younger every day he hangs out with the Cleeter Crew.
