@@daszieher Yes right. What I liked on that old models was the fact, that those models was possible to make onmyself at home. And that was motivation to watch. That first 777-X is my dream to build until now. I bougth 2 models of 737 from Motion RC (smaller size) just to make the fuselage of one of them longer. I want to modify the nose and gears to make a look of 777-X. These last Ramy models are high tech. Still possible to make at home, but just another level... For such models you have to be also excellent pilot, what Tyler is. So they both with the rest of people are creating a great team! Videos are just pure pleasure for the RC modeler's soul... 🙂
@ i disagree, I think the one issue with a specific model doesn’t mean all their planes have those issues. It was bad management, and bad decisions yes. But boeing itself had been around for 109 years and makes amazing aircraft. Most of the planes we fly today are boeings too.
I remember watching him build the original 777X in 2019 when he had like 7K subs. Crazy to think that half a decade later we would see a second 777X build before the real one got certified.

I don't comment a lot on these videos, and I'm not greatly in the RC hobby myself, but it's always been fascinating to me. I love RC models that are scale models to real aircraft. If I were an RC hobbyist, I would be going for hyper-realistic scale aircraft. And the bigger, the better. Even as a kid, the huge scale RC models were the ones I loved the most. Your model here is satisfying so many aspects of my fascination with this hobby. This is a crazy huge model and I just love it. Even not seeing the final version, yet, this is so much fun to watch. I’m a big fan of the Boeing 777 too. When American Airlines took delivery of its first 777 I was working at the Alliance Maintenance Base. I worked on them the rest of my career. Great airplane. Boeing doesn’t build them like that anymore. You make amazing models. My compliments.

I got started back in 2015, and because of you, and like you, I customer build my planes, no kits. I'm currently finishing up an 11.5 ft F-15E with two kingtech 320G4 jet turbines and will be starting a 21.7 ft F-15EX powered with two Kingtech 450G5's, to be followed up with a 1/4 scale F-22. Thanks for the motivation Ramy, both of these F-15s can be flown via radio transmitter, flight station, and with or without VR goggles. Keep up the great work you do for the sport. Ruben D.

Hey Ramy, I was wondering if you and Tyler had looked into large scale 3d printing for these planes. With the new foaming low density ASA material and >1m³ build volume printers available (or how easy even bigger diy ones can be built now). You might be able to really streamline your process vs milling foam. You could print the fuselage and wings in very thin cross sections and lay carbon on top. This process is actually gaining popularity with smaller scale modelers and in scale rocketry. Love your work, I have no idea how Tyler has the guts to fly these works of art.

So I was wrong, Vasyfan makes up to 57cm EDF now so all it takes is a phone call. Who still wants to see a full custom fan build for this mama!???
