How do you expect the front desk person to FULLY compensate the guest? Give up his next 5 year's salary on the spot? Lol I mean really think about that.

Otherwise, they'll just be spending money for attorneys' fees on top of having to cut a check for a similar amount. Even if they have an in-house legal team who handles it, it will be a waste of their time.
