Going into a BK a seemingly homeless man asked me to buy him a kids meal. I had money just enough to get my meal & the kids meal so I got it for him & gave it to him on my way back to my car. He looked at me like I was being rude & out of order for giving him the food & told me he didn't want food, he wanted money. I left the food right there with him & saw him a few times after that, still begging, but didn't see him & totally ignored him because I'm not giving them my money to buy substances. I just don’t respond, but keep my head on the swivel.
It's hard to tell if someone is legit about needing help or just want to use people.
I was in a drive thru at Wendy's and when I offered to buy a guy begging for money food, he told me he doesn't eat that kind of food, he only eats rice. I went into NY mode and ignored him at that point.
We live in a horrible world. Be safe out there people and always be aware of your surroundings.
This is why corporations are having a hard time finding people to work (cashiers, fast food workers, retail, waiters etc). No one's dealing with this BS for 7 to $10 and some change 🙄.
