Good to see that you are keeping busy with Farland upgrades. Always a pleasure to watch. David.
Hi David, I think I may have an obsessive streak..
😂😂😂. Thank you for watching and your comment, cheers, Rob
Great update Rob, and glad you found a great spot for the pub! Cheers, Dan 😃
Thank you, Dan. I do like the pub. cheers, Rob
Greetings from Melbourne Australia.. your layout looks fantastic.. well done. If mine could only look 1/2 as good I'd be happy.
Thank you...Melbourne...I was just there in April. Fabulous city. In fact, I was really impressed with Australia in general. What a great country. My layout was built a little at a time over the last 6 years. Rob
Nice new pub! I like what you did with the shop lighting.
Thank you. Adding lighting to the flats above the shops was a fun project. I need more lighting projects. Rob
@@FarlandHowe we are into lighting too. Currently we have 3 ESU SignalPilot decoders we are using to run our lighting.
@@TwoRailfans , It is a great idea to use decoders for lighting. Are you using a separate power supply for the lights, or are you running them off your DCC supply?
@@FarlandHowe we are using 3 old DC controllers. The decoders allow you to use an external power supply or the DCC power from the track, but we wanted to power them with separate supplies. The cool thing about those decoders is that you can program random on/off, create the effect of a fluorescent light bulb burning out, strobe, etc. Lots of effects and controls that are all controllable from the same DCC controller.
@@TwoRailfans I may have to get one and see if I like it. Thanks for the tip and info.
Fix the sound check your video back and you will hear that sounds like you are underwater
I was testing a new microphone. Sorry, lesson learned. Next time I will not use this one again. Thanks, Rob
