this is very accurate! i wouldn't be surprised if this song had replaced Dare on the genuine album, one thing about demon days is that almost all of it's songs have a format, loud bass, a dystopian feel, and lastly a short heavenly part that then returns back to the main song.
I think that is the reason why I love the plastic beach era the most. The gall and dare to put fictional characters through some tragedy was inspiring, and at the time it was wildly comforting.
I can't believe how you managed to add a shift in styles midway through just like white light and All Alone. The transition to the orchestra is so beautifully done. Literally sounds exactly like Danger Mouse's production style!!!

They had a different ending during the Plastic Beach tour as well. And I think they changed it yet again for the most recent tour (can’t recall exactly) Could be any of these!
when it got to the cutaway at 3:02 i was half expecting "close your eyes and see..." from all alone. these covers are awesome, you do a great job on these!

The only thing I would’ve done differently is not use a beat machine. Only because Russell was present during their recordings of demon days. Therefore no need for the beat machine. Still great work tho I’m just saying what I would’ve done. Not criticizing
From a lore aspect I understand, but just about every song on Demon Days uses programmed or sampled drums, so it was needed in order to capture the right aesthetic.
