Hi! In today's video I am making a semi-homemade Peanut Butter cake. This my recipe. Its very easy and delicious. Hope you like the video and will try my recipe.
Nice cake will be trying it this weekend. Couple of pro tips: use your glass measuring cup to melt your stick of butter in after you've added your water and invest in a small silicone spoonula or spatula to help scrape your bowls but to also scoop your PB out of the jar and if you spray the inside of your 1C measure cup with Pam before you put the peanut butter in it will come out super easy And lastly to get your PB into your batter better dump that measuring cup of into your butter residued glass measuring cup and melt it in the microwave, it will blend in so easy and much more fully incorporate😉
Peanut Butter Cake Recipe: Preheat oven to 350 Ingredients: 2 - Boxes of Betty Crocker Super Moist-Butter Recipe Yellow Cake Mix 2 Cups of water 1 stick of melted butter 6 eggs 1 TBSP of Vanilla Extract * Combine/Mix all those ingredients together very well * Next, add 1 cup of peanut butter to your cake batter and mix well or until well incorporated. Butter a 13x9 inch baking dish. Pour cake batter into baking dish and bake for 45-60 minutes at 350 degrees. Let cake cool and frost as desired.
Looks good but I would use a mixer instead of a whisk when you have wrist problems it would mix up better going to have to try it but just with one cake mix bless evening😊
Hi Mandy! Thank you for your recipe. My husband and son love peanut butter and chocolate. I will make this for them for Sunday dinner dessert. I love homemade birthday cake. My mother always made my brother’s favorite cake “German Chocolate”, my father loved pound cake with homemade whipped cream and strawberries and mine was caramel cake/sometime I would ask for peach cobbler with her homemade whipped cream. I just kept the tradition going.😁 I just subscribed.
I just found this video and i read some of the comments before making mine. Why didn't you use a mixer instead of mixing by hand since you have to add peanut butter to the cake mix which is rather thick to mix into a cake mix by hand. Would have made it easier for you and anyone else would use a mixer when making this cake. But all in all Mandi it does look delish.
Looks Fantastic! Have you ever iced this cake with Peanut Butter Icing? Really good. 3 cups icing sugar...1 tablespoon maple syrup...2 teaspoons vanilla extract..2 tablespoons milk..1/4 cup of peanut butter or more and 1 tablespoons water. Really good also.
watching this in Feb 2023, That is the most expensive cake ever. BUTTER AND 6 EGGS, OH MY!! Almost have to sell a kidney to make a birthday cake!!!😜😜 All joking aside, I gave you a LIKE👍
When you think about how much you would spend for a cake at a local bakery this cake is not expensive at all. Have you priced cakes at Wal-Mart or Hy-Vee lately? They are $20.00 to $25.00 and they don’t even taste good!
Would be nice if you put the recipe at the end where we can write it down don't have no printer watching on RUclips instead of watching and trying to write down new videos you're going to get a lot of the same comments
Peanut butter, eggs, and other liquids mixed together. Then added gradually to the dry ingredients. Otherwise it's too much mixing, which will end in a tough cake.
Oh my God that video took so long I know it only says 13 minutes but it felt like it was like a half hour or so not to even cut it open so we can see the inside no I'm not subscribing.
If u both like peanut butter cake why not fix with a peanut butter icing, I scrolled down and saw home made peanut butter cake with peanut butter icing, but I guess you just did the chocolate this time but peanut butter icing may not taste as sweet but well we all have our different likes and dislikes but
Why all these cake mix videos? Which is not rocket science! None of these home bakers on the videos know what they're doing, they are not prepared, misen place would help them tremendously, and try using the right tools for the job. Sorry harsh comments, but these home bakers bore me to 😭 tears. A box mix is already done right, stop trying to change it, these hacks not necessary.
Why must we continue to see CAKE MIX VIDEOS. CAKE MIX TASTES LIKE CHEMICALS. If you ever make a real cake one time and realize that it takes only minimal effort and TASTES DELICIOUS.
Myself I have gone and sort of used the measurements and even the ingredients but I have also substituted and some ingredients put a dash more or less and why not use chunky when a lot of cakes and brownies and cookies call for walnuts I have swedish in me and we don't always go by how the measurements or what all the ingredients are we well play by ear and improvise sorry

Was hoping you'd show us a cut out slice. Not shown in this video though. I wanted to see how the cake.looked with peanut butter bits in it.
This sounds yummy to me from Jeff
Would have been helpful if you would have included a copy of your recipe in the description box so we could screenshot it.
Sorry about that. I usually have full receipt for my food. Next time I will be sure to include a full receipt

Yes the cost of eggs is crazy

🥚 💵 😅. Yes eggs are crazy expensive! But it’s cheaper to make a cake than buy one now a days
I would halve this recipe. 👍
This is a double batch. For a big Birthday cake.

Cake was actually very moist but thank u
Mandi, two cake mixes? Why do you double the recipe? For this amount of ingredients, shouldn't you be using a larger baking dish instead of a 13x9?
Can I use a electric blender
Yea that would be good
When was this recorded? Everything looks so old…
I do own an older home.
Instead of water add milk and one or two extra eggs.
Thank u
Looks like heaven to me.
Oh my God that video took so long I know it only says 13 minutes but it felt like it was like a half hour or so not to even cut it open so we can see the inside no I'm not subscribing.
Thanks for watching
Grandma Hann taught me to cook without a recipe or measuring

but peanut butter icing may not taste as sweet but well we all have our different likes and dislikes but
My dear, there's too much fat! Since you are using peanut butter, no need for any other fat.
We have to think of our hearts love.

Sorry u didn't like it! I am not a home baker at all. This was by request from my husband.
Her hands look exactly like the guy on the tool video para bol
Not sure who that is but I have very small hands. I am only 5'3

Too much eggs all for one cake. It don’t take that much. Eggs are expensive. Probably when I don’t have to sell a kidney, then yeah.
She used two cake mixes, that’s why she used double the amount of eggs, you can half this recipe pretty easily. ☺️
Heat the peanut butter up in the microwave!
I thought that too, would it not mix into the cake better
Thank yall, I don't make a lot of cake so that is a good idea
