Not only should the MCU take notes, everyone should! TF2 is a character in and of itself and i wish more worlds and stories did that with their own world building, It's fiction, so we might as well be creative with the writing. (Not saying that everyone should be goofy, but not everything has to take place in a real life location or even line up with irl history, like How Australia in TF2 is technologically advanced, where as in real life, it's, well, it's Australia)
i think it was saxton who we see through the eyes of near the end since right after scout says “we couldn’t have done it without you” the scene switches directly to hale as an old man
I really like Heavy’s character expansion over the years to make him no longer a dumb brute but a reserved and intelligent man who puts everything on the line to protect the ones he cares about. He and Medic got along so well not because Medic could exploit him for experimentation, but because Heavy was willing to put his body on the line to help him develop life-saving technology like ubercharge. Heavy wasn’t sure of the medical implications of what he was doing to his body, but he trusted Medic enough as a friend and scientist that he allowed him to do it anyway.
Im also a fan of how Spy isn’t able to directly confess his fathership to Scout despite genuinely caring for his wellbeing by the later parts of the story. Could be for a lot of reasons: maybe he’s ashamed for abandoning him and leaving him to grow up without a father, or maybe he’s afraid of the almost-certainly angry reaction scout would have to realizing who it was that walked out on him.
There’s honestly so much depth to the characters that gets revealed in these comics that really humanizes them, shows they all have their own values and lives that led them to where they are, and influences how they interact with eachother. Even someone like soldier, despite being insane and misguided, still genuinely tries to help people in his own way and protects the people he loves. I love the comics so much.
I feel Heavy kind of forgets that Medic is insane, like consider his reaction to hearing Medic losing his medical license and how immediately his demeanor changes to nervousness and his reaction to Medic actually putting a Baboon uterus in the TFC heavy instead of it being a bluff.

Zephaniah Mann has canonically seen every single TF2 match to ever happen and ever will happen. This means he’s been forced to watch every Skial server match… the Administrator was truly evil.
I gotta say that I am actually satisfied with how Valve ended the story, and I am surprised they did. I may have never touched TF2 but I've always been very interested in the wackyness and depth the story had.

I was completely immersed by this game as a child and seeing how the story unfold as an adult, all I can say is that this is the craziest most wonderful videogame story I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. I'm also happy to see that regardless of all the destruction and the atrocities they have commited atleast the end the boys had a happy ending.

Wait a second, I just realized that first set of Mercenaries had Lincoln, the US president during the Civil War, and Stonewall Jackson, a Confederate General during the US Civil War working together. That raises some questions, did the US Civil War happen in the TF2 universe, was it actually a war, hell in this universe it could have easily been a series of drinking games.
I gotta say, theres definitely some ounces of open endedness, sequel bait even, in the younger characters, like soldiers kids, olivia being the sole heiress to the badlands, maybe scouts assassin princess. It’d be bittersweet but intriguing if this was how tf3 happens.

Pyro was at Smissmas. I have seen another person comment that about Bidwell but it was clear in the comic, Reddy was given control and Bidwell just continues to be an employee. As for Miss Pauling, I'd like to think her story is not over.

A few things we still dont know. Where is Classic Engie? Who/ what is Pyro? What happend to Tf Industries and Gray Gravel? What Happend to Pauling? A bit late on this but tf2 is probably one of the few valve titles that i actually like.And play nearly monthly than any other game i own ha ha.Im kind of adicted to the base mann vs machine mode a bit too much,although i got a few kills online as well with my sturdiness.Thanks for the timeline one of my favourite altered history stories.

i like that the team fotress story completed and gived us a nice end but because of that the game will die because there is nothing to wait our mision is to save team fotress.

A bit late on this but tf2 is probably one of the few valve titles that i actually like.And play nearly monthly than any other game i own ha ha.Im kind of adicted to the base mann vs machine mode a bit too much,although i got a few kills online as well with my sturdiness.Thanks for the timeline one of my favourite altered history stories.
