We Set Off Alarms Exploring Abandoned Police Station

- The former police station and jail was originally built in 1960 as a city hall that was approximately 80,000 square feet and sat on just over three acres of land. The city hall had been a bustling central hub of activity for many years, as the building once had over 50 different law enforcement staff working inside.
As the years wore on, the building began to slowly fall apart. The once pristine walls became dusty and cracked, the windows grew cloudy from the harsh weather elements, so city officials made a decision to build a brand new city hall within the same area. The old city hall was finally closed in 2008 and it has sat abandoned ever since.
Exploring the abandoned city hall was much more of a mission than we had initially anticipated. Upon our first attempt, we were able to get inside the building, however we were completely unaware that there were motion sensors still connected and hooked up to active alarms!
The entire time that we were exploring, we were sketched out, on edge, and full of anxiety as we continuously set off the alarms over and over again. Overall, the deafening loud alarms helped with the overall experience and made it a very sketchy location. It literally felt as if the police were going to walk around the corner at any minute - and I’m sure you can imagine how mad they would be to catch us inside their old station!
The most memorable parts were the different colored cell blocks, the courtrooms, the filing cabinets of old paperwork and criminal records, and the detective offices filled with outdated arrest reports and even crime scene photos! With the full experience in addition to all that was left behind for us to uncover and discover, this abandoned police station was an explore that we will never forget. And that’s going to take us to the end of the abandoned police station and jail with alarms. Oh man this place looked like a horror movie like the zombies or aftermath of the first terminator film during the police station raid, great video as always and felt like a found footage movie but we got the good ending where everyone survived LOL

The fact that the power is still on is crazy though it looks like the offices you explored were still in use up until pre-covid.

@@Dogappelor the driver of the speaker is corrupted or wet driver but you might right the speaker might have blowed fused that is causing the siren sound bad

It was all cleaned out. There wasn't anything left evidence wise. We looked all over for it.
I wonder why some of the cells had that mesh screen at the bottom, but most didn't. What would have been the purpose in having it?

My thoughts exactly. I'm sure at once point they responded to them because the alarms are actually active and sending a signal. I bet some animals got inside and kept setting them off so they probably just stopped responding I'm guessing.
If there are working alarms then it's most likely not "abandoned"
@@borous. What??? Does that police station not look abandoned to you? The alarms are probably left on to deter trespassers/animals, so there’s no point in turning them off. They probably built a new complex and left that one behind and/or it was condemned.

Those alarm sounders probably haven't been serviced for many years and are no longer making the correct alarm sound. From a distance, it sounds like barking dogs!
It did sound like barking dogs. Soon as we got inside I asked my boy if he is hearing dogs lol.

If they triggered the alarms, they broke into the place, which if they got caught, they would get it for trespass, as well as burglary of a vacant property. They better be lucky they didn’t get caught and arrested.
Why speak on things when you have zero clue what you're talking about? Breaking and entering means a forced entry. The door was unlocked so there was no forced entry. Burglary would include stolen property which we didn't do. Yes we risk a trespassing charge. My last trespassing charge was $100, my last spending ticket was $200. Its not nearly as serious as you're trying to make it.
@17:56 you can see the sensor on the wall that you tripped and a few seconds later it's showing a red LED light.
Yea this place had sensors all over it. There was a good 6-8 of them throughout the entire police station that were active and still working. Luckily they didn't signal out to the local pd.
Isn't there a mute button on the safety panel?
To mute the alarm the code is required to able to disarm the alarm
Find them turn themoff or cops show up be safe
