But you are going to have a tough choice if you react to Good 4 U, her latest single that has been trending #1 in recent days. Its pretty much straight up pop-punk, with elements reminiscent of Green Day, the early Paramore, and Avril Lavinge, and with some really good guitar riffs thrown in (that she wrote herself). It would have been sure bet to hit #1 in 2005 (when she was all of 3 years old) and may get pretty close now in 2021. So on which of your channels would you put it?

I love this song and Olivia Rodrigo is incredibly talented (you should hear the live stripped down version...wow), but unfortunately, this song does not represent the quality of the songs on pop top 10 playlists in the last few years, which tend to have simple, repetitive and hackneyed chord changes and are way overproduced and saturated with Autotune to make up for the deficits of the singers......but once in while, a gem like this song emerges.
Olivia Rodrigo is Filipina-American no one taking about Filipinos 90%-95% can sing in the country and singing is taught first by your parents and friend not like in other countries you need to go to a music and arts in HS or College. Give a Filipino a microphone and a beer or Rum 50/50 it will start singing! hahaha!
