6:12 it's possible they used mirrors for reference whilst drawing. I do that and I often notice the characters looking a bit like me. Especially the eyes

Mine would be: Alex Toth, Jack Kirby, Bernie Wrightson, Johnny Craig, Todd McFarlane, Bruce Timm, John Byrne, Mike Mignola; and definitely Frank Miller. Added bonus is Jay Stephens. I am trying to figure out my style as well, but those are the ones who spring in my mind.
He has a comic called Dwellings, and it is a horror comic in the style of Harvey Comics ( publishers of Casper the Friendly Ghost ). I discovered his work through Wizard Magazine, in an article about his book Atomic City Tales.
@@robertcarey45 I recently discovered a huge backlog of Wizard issues of the official American Library site. Oh the memories! But nothing beats the actual magazine in your hand. Hours and hours of fun guaranteed per issue.
