The CCP made events are mostly tiny and happen to fast you have to be lucky to be near it to take part in it. I know, otherwise they would be overwhelmed by all kinds of groups. But Im glad eve is still the flagship of the only sandbox MMO frenchise :)
Windsigh probably because these types of battles draw outside media attention and bring in new players and people curious about the insane numbers if players involved.

Ha ! I was part of the Attacking Machariel fleet...we did get intercepted by Test Alliance but the Numbers are all wrong! It was like 700 to 500, but we had long range and they were prepared for short range engagement. So we had to pull back with some loses, regroup and then we bridged with a Titan directly into M-OEE8 and helped destroy the Keepstar! ANNNNDDD i did record everything :D, so if you wanna see it from the Perspective of a Machariel Pilot! Then visit my channel :) Oh yeah it is a fast forward version which only goes like 25 min and not the real 7 hours ;)
I wish players who are interviewed or making statements that go to credible sources like the scope would put more effort into it. Some RP would do wonders instead of nerdspeech.

No faction Keepstars exist yet right? I can't imagine an alliance investing so much into one "thing" - I would think they would prefer to get their hands on faction Super Caps & stick with regular keepstars.
