Love your videos, man! And I love beer too. Hey, any chance you tested the Thunderbolt 4 performance of the iPad 4 with your Satechi M.2 Enclosure? (I love that video by the way and I am ordering soon). I want to know if the iPad M4 performance is any better and can really sustain those speeds.

It's wild, I have the M1 iPad Pro 12.9 with 512gb storage.
What's insane is..I barely have touched ANYWHERE close to where it needs to be in regards to storage capacity even with all my uploaded apps or even apps I barely use.
I barely put pictures on there. Most of my pictures do not require much storage capacity. I use it for drawing, browsing the web, and sometimes video editing or voice overs.
None of those do much on the hard drive space. It's still nice to have it but looking back now, I would do be fine with just the 256gb storage..but again, that's just me.
Macbook laptop wise, 256gb is too little lol.
M1 is still a great machine for sure. I only use the M2 now as I need to upgrade for channel and would be the only reason I move to M3 or beyond. But the M1 is still capable.

Watched this video from Tokyo, Japan. Big fun of your contents!! Suggestion for your contents. If you can do the video on what charger( amps, wattage and voltage) should be appropriate for iPhone, iPad , Mac, etc as it is confusing sometimes.

Watching from Spokane WA. All I can say is I’m glad I don’t have a reason or need to load Windows. I wish I could limit my battery on my Mac to 80%. I think the 80% benefit is it prolongs the ability of the battery to charge to 100%. I’ve been using it since I’m always close to a plug and want to be able to charge to 100% for those times I need 100%, not 90% because my battery has degraded. Interested to see how that works out. Nice, Spokane WA. I really don't use Windows too much any longer. We will need to see how the 80% battery works overall but at the end of the day it does make the battery smaller for people which is a bit unusual. Thanks for watching.
That MacBook Air 5 is REALLY tempting, my credit card is calling me.

Ok so in regards to brightness, it won't hurt to brighten it like the M4 is already insanely BRIGHT although I will say, if you are outside in the sun, it's a nice feature.
On Apple Silicon Macs like my M1 Pro, I have the vivid app which helps against really sunny days to able to see my screen. I see the negative side because I believe it will heat up your macbook or iphone even more and may give you a warning that your computer or iphone is too hot. This had happened to me on my iPhone 13 Pro Max during a REALLY sunny day.
I like it that it's there but ultimately , I will set it down lower. They end up burning/hurting my eyes even with the blue light-block glasses.
Yes, I can see with the Sun but the M2 version is already pretty bright. I know it doesn't hurt to have a brighter screen and I was more kidding but overall I'm sure it would affect battery life overall.

Live Listen is great for people like me who wear hearing aids with Bluetooth. I use my phone with LL to act as a remote microphone to stream conversations with someone in a noisy environment like driving in a car or a restaurant directly to my hearing aids.

That actually will kill your battery doing 80% only. You need to charge in full 100% all the times and let it run down. Never interrupt a charge cycle. Let it charge until is completely full. 👍
Apple added this to iPad as a feature so I'm sure they tested it.

I don’t think iPad is ever gonna get a full macOS experience. Judging the design and battery of the new iPad, how long would the battery last on a supposedly macOS ? I don’t think apple will ever allow that.
I agree and think Apple wants to sell both.
hope your doing good, alot changed since last time i wrote, i officially own my first car(used) for a month and i've been busy two weeks working on it for now it seems stable, im in debt with the bank but this gave me a new oportunity, in 2 years im 100% certain to get macbook pro max chip with max ram and 2 tb ssd maybe they will get oled by then also, untill then im not gonna go for any mac upgrade, im gonna upg my airpods pro and max maybe and my iphone next year, since that is my setup, iphone mac and airpods pro also watch i decided to keep it after all since it is usefull when driving to instantly answer and focus on the road as you just talk, true it can be done with phone also but my phone is 99% of the time inside my pocket, ipad is not for me since i will never use it for more than 30m a day.
