I actually got into the webtoon because of the anime! Reading though season 1 of the webtoon after watching it, i can see where people have some complaints, but the anime was good enough to get me invested in the world and characters.
It'd be definitely interesting for you to react to the anime adaption. They cut quite a substantial amount of things yet at the same time it got a lot of people into the source material and the soundtrack is great nonetheless. Given that you always give a great amount of insight into your thoughts and opinions on art direction and narrative design, I believe a reaction to the anime episodes would be a welcome addition to your ToG content :)
