To my opinion is not a matter of winning or not, he's successfull and talented, and has done better than the other three. It's a matter of what he transmits, how his music makes you feel, that's why he's so good!! I love him!!

I concurr. That he didn't win was a crime, but it obviously didn't matter since he's sold the fourth best-selling debut album of the former Idol contestants behind Carrie Underwood (5.4 million), Clay Aiken (2.8 million), Kelly Clarkson (2.6 million), with 2.5 million. He's AMAZING!

No, if Chris Daughtry didn't go on Idol, he probably would have never been known by anyone on a national scale. There are tons of good singers and bands that never get found, but going on Idol definitely opened everyone's eyes to who he was, and obviously now we all know who he is and more.

I think he actually achieved more success by not winning. It freed him from the control of the AI machine, and allowed him to follow his own path. So happy for the way things turned out for him.
