I modified this design, to handle a 256 long track. and carts, the system is significantly more compact, but one row serves a lifetime of brewing! (but not red nether bricks :D )
I don't generally comment on most of the videos, I just watch them and try to find the one that best fits my needs for a project that I am working on. I came upon this video and copied this farm into my world and it worked even better than the tutorial. The number of drops exceeds the stated amount. Thanks for this.
I just made this on bedrock and I get ALOT of netherwart (I made mine a little bit longer and 4 wide and I get a full double chest if I run all 4 with enough to replant all the netherwart) I’m going to attempt the same thing for a carrot farm but I’m a little stumped of where to place water so the dirt doesn’t dry out each time I harvest. I’m hoping waterlogging stairs along side the left wall will work 🤞🏻 I’ll post an update after I’m done. Thanks for the amazing videos and tutorials Silent! You’ve helped me through sooo many builds in my world!
Ok so making the carrot farm was very easy! I placed a stair along side the dirt on the other side of where you harvest from and put water in it. The only thing is, for bedrock the reach is 5 not 4, but the water will only hydrate 4 blocks. I just keep a hoe in an item frame next to the farm and that seems to be an easy fix for now. Also, make sure you’re extra careful when placing your water. I accidentally wiped out my rails a few times 😂
@@kimberbrown7940 it doesn't matter because I'm Bedrock Edition Nether wart doesn't grow in the regular Realm so this entire video is pointless and obsolete
Love this design, and in my crazy head, I'd add rails overhead to look downward to plan the nether wart faster, if that's even possible. (The overhead rails would be above the semi afk ones where you harvest them.)
Thanks very much silent for designing this farm for us. I have just got done Building it last night and today after work i went ahead and harvest it i ended up with 19 sacks of neather warts. And i only created one modular and 64 blocks long. The only thing bad im having is its very laggy. And i think its because its next to my trading hall and below that is the 107 bee nest honey farm. Not sure if that's the problem or not. I mite knock it down and move it some where else and see if that works. But im gonna have to make some room.
While this is quite a nice idea, u did overlook one aspect; replanting netherwarts. This is often a lengthy process due to soul sand slowing u, reducing the efficiency compared to farms which allow u to plant while not standing on soul sand. If this can be modified to allow that it will be practical, otherwise this design will have increased yield but reduced efficiency which in turn means reduced yield.
Just hop in the minecart with netherwart and replant from the back wall to the front. If that's too hard, lift the rail up a block and replant that way.
@@vlydenknox The minecart moves faster than the game allows planting seeds. I tried different variations slowing the minecart, but you always miss a bunch of blocks. Best way i found was to just walk end to end on the rail and hold right click to plant row by row, starting from the furthest row.

You could try using a furnace minecart to slow down your regular cart to collect them on one pass and you could perhaps re plant them in the cart as well.

I only just recently started using fortune III axe on Dark Oak Leaves for extra saplings, but hadn't really bothered using Fortune III to collect crops - I do hate how much loss a lot of the water collection systems create (as there is a long replant for less crop!), so will definitely be using my Fortune III gear for much more collection! 1 Question how I get 4 rails in the right direction it keeps konnecting every single time with the wrong pieces?????
My workaround was to extend the end of every other rail by one block (zig-zag), to prevent them from being next to each other.
