Wow thanks so much I’ve been wondering how am i going to mount a fender on my bike with out welding .. (i bought someone’s project who started a bobber build but never finished) (I don’t have a rear fender , or license plate/ rear brake relocated) (and i also know absolutely nothing when it comes to welding) but i am Pretty handy and i noticed this fender , plus other similar ones on eBay. So glad i came Across your video thanks a ton
Nice adaptation of the cheap ebay Fender mate, and clever simple mounting ideas... Certainly moving rapidly away from the Stock Aesthetics now... Look forward to seeing the new seating setup... Well done !✌
I had to admit, I felt a bit disappointed in the first 30 seconds because for a moment I feared you wouldn't use an angle grinder for the bob job. Love your approach with the paints to make it blend in - I would just have smacked it with a hammer. Love the result, nice and ratty PUNK IS NOT DEAD :P
Big improvement with the rear fender. The effects you’re getting with the paint are brilliant. It looks like you’ve been sandblasted. Might have to do you next and patina your helmet. 🤣 I have to admit that I’m not sure about the bar at the back but need to see it painted up with the seat on before I can get a proper feel for where you’re going. This build is your vision so what are your thoughts about the bar?
Nothing wrong with OCD ‘ ...that’s how a person gets a design right . Enjoying the build 👍🏼
Thanks mate appreciate your kind words! I'm enjoying this bike alot!

Cheers, glad it could help. Good luck!
I like patina, but i normally like rust. The way you did that rear fender I love it man keep it up
Thanks mate! Glad you liked!

Thank you mate! I was happy with the result thought it might look ok on the bike and am pleased! Cheers
I’ll bet it rides as great as it looks!
Cheers, it's a LOT lighter so you cs feel the change in power to weight! 😀👍
A massive improvement on the stock mudguard. I will probably steal the mounting idea for a GN250 build.
Steal away! 😀👍
@@iRidetas Thanks mate
No worries, enjoy!
Attempting to use the same rear fender for my Xv build 🤙🏻
They look cool, good luck with it!
@@iRidetas yeah not bad for $17 delivered haha
I built mine using the front fender. Not the best but it works.
I seriously looked at that! But then went down this route, but this wont carry as much weight as the front fender you used!

Haha cant have a bobber without an angle grinder 🤣🤣🤣🤣 cheers mate I'm pretty happy with it!
I like the look of the fender but not sure about the bar. The old fender is huge in comparison, coming along nicely m8 : )
The bar comes into play next week for the light 😉 cheers brother
Beautiful build! This series inspired me a lot! May I ask what kind of paint you are using ? I’m from Melbourne seems I can get a same one😂
Just hardware store acrylic paint (base and clear coats)
Such an awesome idea!
Thanks mate 😀👍
The fenders are cheaper on aliexpress. Different width as well
I ordered a 8” for about 14.00 US

Cheers! The bar fits with the rear tail light in next weeks video! 😉
@@iRidetas Hahaha...now you're teasing. Come on next week!
Hahaha it looks better with the second part installed!
Not bad mate 👍😁
Thanks, I was happy!
You from Tassie brother? I’m from Launie
Yup, certainly am!
Legend brother! ☺️👍
Cool
Thanks!
Will a plastic fender hold a pass3nger with this method
I would never put a passenger on a plastic eBay fender regardless of the mounting method
One nice clear Video and i love your Voice , Calm and sexy .
