I tell it the way ot is...Ironhead and new Sportsters are nice, but nothing will be more reliable then a Japanese vtwin, especially a vstar... that is fact! Are you in England?
Love it! I wish I could do that too. In Germany every part has to get inspected and you have to pay for each part which is mostly not worth because it's so expensive and a lot of parts are not even legal or allowed to ride. Dang I live in the wrong country. Even mirrors if I chose them and they are without a regulation number they are fined with 100 euro fine
When you look back to where you started with the birth of Dizzy to where he is now then I think you would have to say that he certainly picked up some attitude going through adolescence. It’s a great look that you have achieved and it must feel good to see all you hard work ideas come together so well. Glad you’re not selling straight away as you have to have some reward for all you efforts. Enjoy the ride.
Thanks Jeff it was a pretty boring bike at the start and I think I've made it into something with a bit more attitude and go. Thanks for all the positive words of encouragement along the way!
I have a 1974/75 stroker hardtail ironhead and live the vstar 650's and the box and the vulcan 800's. Your vstar is awesome!!!! Great bike.....do not require anything bigger!!! Bikers would love to have a HD flathead 45....it only has about 20hp!!!!
You can replace the baffles with lollipops to keep your back pressure... keep it old school man. You did a great job with this one. I hope to see more videos on it in the future
So good! I have a vstar650 too and your video inspired me to get the frisco/peanut tank. Im going to leave it bars metal too. It's a slow project for me but it's something to look forward too in the coming months. Thank you 🤙
Well done mate !! Big Credit to your creative process on this project... I've also used those Bunnings Riggers Gloves over the Years, and "Self Patinad" 🤣... Great value for money !! Best Wishes, and Happy Cruisin' Bud ✌✌✌
Thanks mate always appreciate your kind words. Hope you will join me for the next bobber! Haha I'm an impatient guy so I had to patina them rather than wait!!! Take care! 😀👍
Yeah m8 🤜🤛 From that big black cruiser (that looked like all others) to an individual stand out machine i tip my hat to you. Dizzy now has attitude, personality & will turn heads everywhere. Congrats on a great Bobber Build 👍 Now i'm curious on the next builds name, any more Zeppelin names left??? : )
Hey man I just bought a peanut tank to put on my 650 v star how did you get the air box above the carbs low enough to put the tank on and make it look right
Mate I hope someone sees this I might have stumbled upon a great tune for the xvs 650 22.5 low jet 108high jet Increase fuel bowl capacity via float bending Rak mod holes in stock box V&H short shot It cruises very very happy at 60mph & it’s a bit leaner with 108jet up top end so it pulls hard & has great mid range punch power. Am I wrong for this settings bc it rides so nice I just fell into this set up. Opinions wanted
I’ll keep you updated I want to see if I get that healthy “rich” feel on my top end with 120s and I am at 4th spot on me needle, 3.5 turns out too Thanks
@iridetas interesting I put the stock low jet in and 120 High jet and it feels great up top a lot of fuel and power. I kind of want my 22.5 low jet back in ( I just followed 650ccd.com rejet chart they say stay with stock low jets) low speed driving is more difficult with stock lows
That looks pretty damn cool. It’s got this vintage post-apocalyptic look going on. Nice job 👍🏻
Thanks mate!
Looking good my dude! Can’t wait to start building on mine next week!
Cheers mate, they are a great bike to mod. Enjoy & keep me updated on how its going!
Lovin this xvs650, these videos are definitely an inspiration to get my v-star build going
Cheers! Good luck with it! 👍

Fortunately Australia isnt that strict! Cheers 😀👍

Super sick ride. I have a cholo style classic but this makes me want to pickup a custom and build it Frisco style 🤟
This started as a classic!
Looks awesome man, do you happen to have any videos on how to install the left hand/ turn signal controls?
Controls no sorry, turn signals yes!

Hi is the gas cap a vented one or not buddy
Yup, its vented
@@iRidetas there was no vent in mine so I drilled a small hole in side of cap run’s lovely now buddy problem was air build up spot on thanks for reply
Good to hear mate!
Those mirrors look like Enfield mirrors.
They do! 👍👍
Mate I hope someone sees this I might have stumbled upon a great tune for the xvs 650
22.5 low jet
108high jet
Increase fuel bowl capacity via float bending
Rak mod holes in stock box
V&H short shot
It cruises very very happy at 60mph & it’s a bit leaner with 108jet up top end so it pulls hard & has great mid range punch power. Am I wrong for this settings bc it rides so nice I just fell into this set up. Opinions wanted
Sounds like a pretty standard combo for RAK then it would be 125 to 130 for pods
I have 120s what do you think 🤔?
Would be better
I’ll keep you updated I want to see if I get that healthy “rich” feel on my top end with 120s and I am at 4th spot on me needle, 3.5 turns out too
Thanks

Hey buddy have you had this dyno'd to see it output figures over stock, I'd be interested to see what you've actually made or lost?
Nope
@@iRidetas will you?
Nope, not planing on it. Cant justify the expense at this point mate, its not a fast bike. Butt dyno says its more fun to ride im happy with that
Is opening music used on your video the Henry Rollins band?
Nah, youtube royalty free!
Are you going for another project?
Definitely am!
@@iRidetas go for another Royal Enfield 👍🏼😊
Nah, cant find one in my current project price bracket.
what tank did you use?
