  • Well, I went on my western trip again this year and I visited two fossil fish quarries. This is from my trip to Fossil Safari, which is under new ownership. I had a great time. If you are ever in Western Wyoming, check them out. It's so much fun and the people are super nice.

    You did good! And got a lot sh**! Lol! Those tiny little fish you got were adorable! And the big one is awesome too! No stingray this time but that's ok maybe next time guess you are stuck with a whole lot of fish! Thanks Jeff!❤

      Hahaha I did get a lot of sh...ow tunes 🤣 I figurebif I don't find a stingray that just means I have to go back and look again ... dang my luck 😥🤣

      I made sure to extra wrap them this time, and stay off of bumpy roads (learned my lesson last year 🤣)

    Love it! Great finds!! I always say "One of these days...." but it'll probably never happen until I get all of the kids out of the house so I can actually have time for a long trip like that, and by then I'll be too old, fat, and tired to do it. I'm already two out of three of those...I'll let you decide which is which. 🤣😂

      haha Naaa never to old and fat to sit in the dirt and split open rocks. Now climbing up hill sides at some of the places I went I think I may have been too old and too fat LOL

      You would lose your mind out here, brother. You could shoot some fishing video and then some old fish video. But I want to see you make a recipe for these guys, If anyone can, I know you can, lol.

    Very cool, why not try an old handsaw sharpened on the front end. It is stiff and would probably be able to pry off bigger pieces without cracking or breaking the stone. Also a battery operated saw with stone cutting blade to cut your specimens down to size. 😊

    • @huntingrocks
      @huntingrocks  2 месяца назад +1

      I like that Idea a lot I'm gonna have to see if they will let me try it. Now one of the nice things at the quarry if you have a big fish say stuck in the middle of a big piece of rock they will break out a saw and cut it out for you.

      @@huntingrocks oh no! Hate you lost footage! I hear a few people saying this happens often. Is it possible to have a backup camera going at the same time? (Because we all know how one camera is just so easy to manage while you are elbow deep in dirt, mud, and other icky stuff😂)
