This popped up after watching a few episodes of Paul n bobs gone fishing 🎣
I love these guys I was in my early teens when their first show hit TV and they had a real unique style of comedy for the time nobody was so abstract apart from the fast show and Harry Enfield wasn't as abstract, anyway Vic Bob Harry n Paul got me through some really difficult times, depression and broken heart through my teens into my 20s so I have a lot of respect for them just helping make life have laughter ❤

excellent documentary. Had Bob not gone to the pub that night and seen Vic larking about, how different would life be? They've made me laugh for decades. A truly great comic duo. Thanks for this upload.

The way I see it, if you’re going to upload old recordings, why not make them the best quality you can? No one likes poorly done uploads - what’s the point? And yes, it’s a fantastic documentary that’s stayed with me from the first day I saw it. I’m glad you appreciate it, too!

Saw this originally, never since until now. I always remembered Matt Lucas saying you shouldn't analyse comedy. (A) I always thought it was The South Bank Show, and (B) 27 YEARS AGO??? There are top footballers now who weren't even born 27yrs ago. Where has time gone?

    • @GaryGoals

I'm glad Mark said it because I had the exact same thought while watching Shooting Stars a bit ago, "This is just a sketch that Vic and Bob turned into a game show.".
You ask me, that *is* genius.

I think, to Vic and Bob but to Vic in particular, it and everything they do together is An Art. Every episode a little art installation.

That was the thing with Vic and Bob, even when what they said wasn't funny, it was usually so cringe that you still had to laugh at it, you could see them look at each other and realise that the line or joke wasn't funny and that would make them laugh, just knowing they'd messed up, they didn't care, they laughed anyway and carried on and so did we. It was weird and the 90s was a weird time.

, black books, father Ted and black books and the it crowd. The fast show.
