This series deserves all major awards. Jessica Gunning’s portrayal as Martha is outstanding.

@@user-td8wg3rp7y I don’t care if the script is true or not. That isn’t the point of my comment.

On review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, 97% of 36 critics gave the series a positive review, with an average rating of 8.8/10. The website's consensus reads: "A bracing work of autofiction by creator and star Richard Gadd, Baby Reindeer can be a punishing watch but richly rewards viewers with its emotional complexity and excellent performances."[10]

This Netflix one will haunt me for the rest of my life. Still disturbed and in awe. Amazing but JFC, what a story.

@@CheekyMofo7722 I will explain: The movie is the demented journey of a man through drugs and pansexuality, while tormented by professional failure as a comedian - which is understandable when listening to his jokes-, harassed by a grotesque morbidly obese woman that he winds up boning, because it couldn't be any other way, in coherence with his lack of personality or credibility. The story, uninteresting, repetitive and at times revolting, also boasts a depressing background and an array of shallow characters that make it impossible for the viewer to feel absorbed in the plot or in the personality traits of any of them.

      @@HumanLanguageByHumansHe doesn't "bone her",
That was a fantasy he had which allowed him some relief so he could be intimate with his new partner
How could the journey be "demented" by your own words but also boring and repetitive?
Also, the point of stalking is that it is repetitive, unrelenting and pervasive.
I thought the show was compelling, i liked the levity and gravity it portrayed in equal measure.
I wouldn't call it a masterpiece but was an enjoyable watch.
How could you watch something in it's entirety but find it boring?
      Genuine Question
