They still use Soviet weapons like Ukraine before NATO Aid. The also had a hybrid of AKS74 and AKM ( AKS74 stock with caliber and front set of AKM) for their SF, and last month I say 2 pictures of AK12 used by Belorussian SF. One day we will talk about their equipment but for now I simply don’t have it.
They were developed to late. It started to be issued to troops around 1988. There was one picture of special forces issued with 6b5 in Afghanistan, but I had never seen it, so may be rumors.
Belarusian stole Lithuanian symbol "Vytis" (know in Belarus as Pahonia) but later they fell back on their soviet past so this was taken out of service.
Looks like no one in Lithuania or Belorussia, except nationalists likes the usage of Pogonya by Belorussia. I am not Belorus, but if you ask me, I also think that Slavs don’t need to use Lithuanian symbolic, we have our heritage, you have yours.
