President Kuffour was the best person to come after the 19 years rule of PNDC/NDC. Any other person would have brought some chaos. This documentary has undertones of tribalism all over. All those interviewed were Ashantis (Akans). Listening to Dr Anane's narrative is worrying to how tribalistic Kuffuor's govt had been. The documentary portrays Kuffuor not having friends outside his Ashanti tribe. This is a revelation of the tribal politics in Ghana.
Doesnt have undertones of anything. The people who know about his past will most definitely be his close associates from his childhood. So do you expect them to interview total strangers from different tribes who know nothing about his upbringing , just to please you or what. The important thing is did he perform or not. Even if his government was full of his tribe and at the end of the day, Ghana moved to a middle income state, then he chose his most trusted people who could do the job. Its just funny how when Ashantis are together you people want to call it tribalism, but when Ewes , or Ga‘s or any other tribe do that, we should take it normal. Everyone has choice of association so you cant force your expectation on someone.
