I have just joined a jrotc drum corps and I am going to be tenor commander, your tutorials have really been helping me pick this up faster than any instrument before!
Hit the gear on the right bottom corner, click "Speed," and choose probably 0.5. Slows it down for ya. You should consider getting the video at the right spot and pausing it. It keeps the same audio pitch so it isn't really deep like those cliche slo-mo clips in family comedies. Hope that helps everyone
I'm a beginner and this is my 2nd year playing tenors. I haven't really had anyone who can teach me anything. My BD is a woodwind major and doesnt know anything about percussion really. I like this sweep. But could you post a video of it slower and step by step so it can help me out? -Thx
I liked this video so I notified my friends to get on Twitter and Facebook. Happy to say that all my friends are on both social media platforms now. 2:17
Yeah! Great video! Tell your bass drummer brother with the fuzz on his face to cut down on the yakkity yak and then we're talking! Or I guess he would be talking while we listen and not a lot of drumming? Good vid, thanks! Will share this with students!
Watched this a month and a half ago and couldn't figure out how to play this. Fast forward to now and I can play it no sweat first try

I really need videos like this. I finally got tenors in band after waiting 3 years and my drum tech always puts things like this in the music
Is there actual sheet music for this *new quad player trying to learn sweeps*
Did you ever find it
W-wait, drummers are supposed to know how to read sheet music?
@@wizard9489 do you think we pull the muscle memory out of our ass?

I’m a 7th grade tenor playing rookie. Anyone got tips
What sticks are you using?
Anyone got any tips for a rookie tenor player??
Get a core now
already done.
Good. First step done. If you have a percussion director at your school who marched DCI or WGI, get lessons from them.
i get lessons weekly from a senior who was in the all american band.
Nice, keep doing that and learn to chop out, do that too.
Do any tenor players out there know how to find a Spock drum to attach to a set of tenors our schools set doesn't have one
Natetural kicks Talk to your caption head or BD and give them a link to find a set of Spock's for your tenors.
Is there sheets ??
Ok can you know show us how to play it slow -_-? nice skills lol :P
I don't even know why i'm watching this. I'm just procrastinating to do my english homework

Drummasterje I can make it slower for you but I don't have my tenors with me. It would be on my pillows
