    You're back!! One thing about our society today, is that we are curious, and satisfy it by searching the internet. Gone is the curiosity that Bryson has; the "hands on" kind that leads to a greater accomplishment. Bryson, keep being an example to your generation and younger.....and the rest of us too!

So much so as to be endeared as another human and I am certain Luna was in ALL our hearts. I wish 'The Rainbow Bridge' had visiting hours to be able to spend a moment or two with our beloved pets that have gone before us. 💝💗
    Bryson's Well Drilling Project seems to be ready to go into full drop soon, and am looking forward to the progression of percussion placement of precision point penetration drilling with the 'Old Rig!'

    In regards to the battery on the drill rig. You just need to install an inline disconnect switch, and that should solve the problem of having to physically disconnect the battery everytime that you're through using the rig. • @ellenorbjornsdottir1166
      @ellenorbjornsdottir1166 6 месяцев назад

      Tombstone is the site of a flooded silver mine. Primary water proponents claim that the silver mine's flooding is a result of primary water. My claim, and I'm willing to be wrong, is that it's from a fossil aquifer that the mine was dug through. Either way, I hope you strike water, and I hope it's cold and sweet and lasts for generations.

    Your endeavors have brought back many memories. My grandfather and his sons had three of these machines and drilled many many wells in the area. I was a very small child and can only remember a lot of noise and oceans of mud. I remember frustration when they lost the bit and had to fish it out. It was exciting when they found water and a disappointment when the water was salty. I am thrilled to follow your great well drilling adventure.

    • @mogelzz
      @mogelzz 9 месяцев назад

      the deeper you get the more likely it is that you are going to hit a water layer that has a high level of soluble minerals in solution (salts) thats just how geology works. If its not ancient (rain)water its salty and comes from deeper in the earth

    I’d also love to see what else is going on at the homestead… How are your goats going? Could you do a homestead tour so those of us who have been watching for many years can see the current usage of the buildings?
    Love to you all from Sydney, Australia.

    Man getting that old rig running is crazy wild! Best of luck getting the water. So sorry you've lost Luna. As always look forward to your posts!

    I'm so sorry to hear about Luna's passing. I have lost several pets and it is so hard, they each have their own personalities and little quirks. I always enjoyed watching Luna's little antics. I do enjoy the longer video but miss your Friday night videos, just give me a little longer and I'll get use to it! I'm a creature of habit. I can't wait to see how the well drilling ends. I really hope you get a gusher, enough to do all the things you have tentatively planned!

    Cool. My dad built a well digger from scraps 30 years ago. It was very interesting and he drilled many wells for people where I grew up. It was much smaller and not attached to a truck. He also built a portable sawmill from scraps, part was the engine from his first car, 57 chevy. I was only 8. Guess that's why I love your family.

    Beautiful Luna! I loved watching her wrestle with Bullet over his sticks, and follow Mom all over the place. Sad to see she passed. Love seeing the antique drilling truck come back to life and be useful again! Bryson is such a smart guy, taught by the best teachers, Mom and Dad. This episode was exciting and informative, then heart breaking. I wish you all comfort and peace with Luna's passing.

    the resurection of this old "spudder" drill rig will be the only video of its kind on the web ! Please be sure to video in detail all of your work in a similar way that you did in the zinc cable connection. Awesome video ! Above all be careful and keep people away from the rig when it is running. These are violent machines. There are 1 or 2 spudder rig videos in action drilling water wells here on you tube. I encourage you to watch them to see the smooth operation of correctly run rig. I have seen pictures of a spudder rig that was drilling deep for oil and hit a pocket of natural gas which ignited and two men lost their lives and the rig was destroyed. Hard hats are a must. Go slow and remember all the inherent dangers in what you are about to attempt. Wish I was there to help :)

    Am amazed by such a young person, Bryson, who unquestionably has mechanical ability flowing through his veins! I imagine this rig was run by men who learned from their fathers/family the intricacies of drilling over YEARS of observation. What a proud moment when it came alive, under Brysons care. Cant wait to see the drill in action. so Sorry about Luna.... take care Renee
