      No, that wasn’t true right there. He just didn’t seem to expect the follow up F-Air. It can be true and it would have been with better positioning. :)

    I never get the shieldbreak, am I doing something wrong?

      You might be. The down B typically only breaks a full shield when it is used from the ground, so make sure there is a little shield damage first. Secondly, you want to land the down B on slightly the front part of their shield. A mistake that I made early on was that I would down B directly from on top of them, this typically doesn’t work. If you look at the thumbnail, I’m ground-pounding slightly to the front of the shield. Also, some characters are just a little easier to shield break than others (due to shield pokes). I hope this helps. Try grinding it out in training.
