the devs will probably keep releasing patches for a few months (maybe longer) to fix bugs and stuff. they did it in sm4sh

They still did patches after bayonetta so they will probably just doing seasonal updates for a while

ive had it happen before when you hit an enemy sometimes it will do the red flash and sound effect but they dont actually fully die
I found it when fighting the Shedinja spirit, since it gains invincibility every few seconds.
That Ike glitch is the best for me

This is the one Smash Ult glitch that seems it will never truly go away forever.
I don't remember when the Master Sword was burning with power but it's pretty cool.
Until then, thanks for sharing these neat 12.0.0 glitches. Although, I am very sure there could be more waiting to be discovered before Sora's arrival.

The permanent mushroom one is really op. It permanently slows and makes every do less damage
it can also seriously buff characters to the point a normal one with perma mushroom can compete with some spirits.
I don't think the ganon one is a glitch, and moreso that his up taunt counts him as being in the air. It's the same as Steve activating his pressure plate by up taunting, where he jumps and waves.

I first learned of the "Fake KO" glitch by doing the Shedinja spirit fight a whole bunch of times.
Easiest to do with Samus' grab immediately at the start of the fight, due to the reach of the grab.
Really funny glitches. I like how Donkey Kong gives Bowser invincibility, that part is quite interesting

That fake KO shit happens when you use Lucario’s Side B on the shedninja spirit game and watch you fight before getting the shedninja spirit

@@verylargemandarinslice8965 The spirit battle for the Shedinja spirit. Its mechanic is it has 1HP, but only vulnerable a small portion of the time, otherwise it switches to invincibility. Glitch itself probably works since the KO scene checks for if the throw (probably any kind of grab or command grab) would deal enough damage, not if the throw is actually dealing damage.
2:19 Shedinja’s Spirit is easier to do, since any grab will work.
Holy crap I hope they don’t patch that first one. Looks really fun to mess with.
I've discovered a few weird interactions myself, apparently it's possible to do 53 percent in on hit as shiek no spirits. To see what I mean just type ode to jank 3. It's part of a series where I fiddle with this kind of thing. Nice glitches though, I always try to keep an eye on this stuff.

Does that mean that in doubles you can get Hero with increased size and your teammate can kill you as yoshi and you'll keep the effect?
Theoretically yes but that'd be very difficult, and you'd have to sacrifice a stock.
Yes, but it'd be hard to pull off.
You'd need the luck of Hocus Pocus (2,35% btw) and 60% damage to not smack out of the egg before dying.

I found a really cool glitch that turns GANONDORF invisible. And then black. What you do is take yoshi and ganondorf to Halberd and right as the platform lifts off have yoshi put you in an egg. Then you should see yoshi but not ganondorf but if you look at the dot indicator in the left you should see the player. Move around and see if you can hit anything. Then kill Ganondorf and he spawns back black!
The last glitch has been a glitch for a very long time prior to 12.0.0
That Gana up taunt one though.

7:00 Hero found the Infinite Sword Glitch
If you pause and unpause Final Destination over and over while the background is changing and move the camera around it can cause the stage to glitch out and become all black and/or skewed and items will be super weird and textures will switch (for example the Smash Ball and Xbomb textures were swapped) idk which version but it happened twice and I haven’t been able to replicate

I got that Ike sword glitch sometime in June or May and I screenshotted it so it's been there, looks cool tho
Did you know that on Big Blue it’s possible for the cars and platforms to suddenly ascend and there be no cars left on the track? Happened to me twice, thinking of uploading one of the saved clips if the glitch still shows in the replay
