Did anyone else encounter the Meta Knight glitch? The glitch is a little too easy to pull off but I saw almost no one talking about it. Also, if you know about glitches that weren't in the video, please let me know :)
I played as Steve against Alex yesterday on a custom stage and my game CRASHED probably because Alex did something the game didn’t intent her to do. (If only I was able to record that...)
Sakurai: "We went through every terrain in the game to make sure that Steve's mining ability doesn't break anything." Sakurai after watching this video: "Ahh, but we did not go through every CHARACTER to see if Steve breaks anything."
They just announced a patch an hour after this video went live, likely fixing most if not all of these, coming tomorrow That’s gotta be a new record for this channel
It’s gonna be pretty hard cus we don’t know which version it is ( bedrock / Java ). Also it’s highly likely that the terrain has been changed to fit the build there so yeah.

Steve’s finals Smash renders the fighter that gets caught over a pre rendered cutscene, so in scenarios where the speed of the game changes, I guess it only affects the cutscene and not the fighters for whatever reason
number 5: that happened to be but it doesn't seem to be just down smash, as it happened to me when I did up smash after my opponent just left their minecart, I even got a split second hit on them number 10: that actually happens on a ledge, its not just custom stages, which leads me to believe its probably not a bug
For a long time, Steve had a blind spot in his down smash move where if someone is standing real close to you and you do the down smash It won't hit them at all. They fixed that on the last 2 updates
Holy crap. I definitely knew about the Samus, and Dark Samus clipping through stages due to Steve's 2 Blocks bug for the past several days now thanks to GameXplain, but I had no idea it could happen to other characters too. Hopefully, all these bugs will get patched up later on.
I found out that some of the effects on Little Mac's Specials don't play when using them right when you're bouncing off of surfaces like a spring or the Boxing Ring's ropes.
The bomber explosion glitch was actually an easter egg. To remind everyone what happens when you have a shitty computer and try to set off too much tnt. Sakurai did it for authenticity ;)
It would seem that Steve's final smash plays a video file, similar to Joker's and Hero's final smashes. Probably the main reason why the final smash cutscene glitches happen the way they are. Joker and Hero have similar glitches with their final smashes. Btw, I am surprised I haven't heard about the Meta Knight glitch before.
I saw the part of the video where Zoroark and a hammer in one Steve's hand can softlock another Steve, and I noticed something: if you use Zoroark on the softlocked Steve, the game will crash (if you have save data from World of Light [even in New Game+], the crash MIGHT corrupt it, forcing you to delete it and start over from the beginning [thus re-locking New Game+]).

one thing thats just a bit of a mishap of the state of the stage is that Steve still builds in straight lines on the Galaxy stage, BUT he still rotates with the gravity as he moves across the flat platform. it looks real weird.
The custom stage grab glitch isn’t really a glitch. That’s just what happens when Steve dash grabs an opponent close to the ledge. Since Steve is already close to the ledge, the animation just happens. As an Alex main, I’ve encountered this many times.
Good thing you don't have a crazy amount of subs like 10 mil because then these glitches would be patched the nanosecond this video came out and then this videos glitches wouldn't even work
5:35 that's not really a glitch, that is how developers fit certain characters in things that they don't fit. Either shrink parts of the model or remove them (shrink to 0) so that the don't stick out, the same thing happens with villager's net.
The one with the eyltra is intentional, as stated in on of steve's tips you can cancel the attack with an airdodge or an attack after the firework is done.
Mashing A does not increase his distance. At a certain point in the animation, you can force yourself to drop the elytra, putting Steve in freefall. Since Steve is upside down in the same position, the hitbox shifts upwards to cover his feet, but in turn that means that he can reach the ledge higher than he normally would. You only have to tap A at the apex, and you will drop the Elytra. You can also do this at any point during his glide, if you want to drop the elytra sooner.

I don't think the Steve gliding ledge grab "glitch" is a glitch. I think that's just a feature of how the move functions.

The zoroark glitch was already a known glitch even before Steve came in, so I think it's one of the glitches that'll get patched out ,😖
