    Reading Marlene Winell’s book, it is so validating. Bringing peace to my inner child finally by reparenting myself

      Agreed! "Leaving the Fold" is a tremendously powerful book. Everyone recovering from Religious Trauma Syndrome (or working with those in recovery) should read it!

    Try adding 2 decades of RTS to life long Autism and Bipolar. I am so frustrated I told all my peers and told God in my journal on 1-2-2023 I was done & deconstructing and I was OK with going to HELL & didn't care anymore. Religion was a toxic relationship because I was also terribly betrayed Gaslighted and Lied to constantly. I'm glad to be FREE and on my way to HELL according to them I'm 47 now and want nothing to do with religion anymore there is nothing in it for GOD & nothing in it for ME. Thank You for this video.

      I'm glad Dr. Winell's video was helpful. You don't have to deconstruct alone! www.divorcing-religion.com and www.journeyfree.org and www.recoveringfromreligion.org are all helpful.

    I was reading one of your articles ty for helping people
    But God helps those who help themselves is not biblical

    • @ComeToCORT
      @ComeToCORT  Год назад +2

      Correct, the Bible does not specifically say that; however, it is often implied.

    What about those who aren't taught anything about a possible deity options is s what we should give our children. As a child you have no option but what you're taught taking a child to Sunday school then go to a park discuss why is the grass is green, (a chemical in the "blood" of the plant turns it green with the sun) or a zoo. Why does it have to be extreme to one side or the other? Give them options & as they mature be open with them, as they grow (adolescent) teach them TOLERANCE not "they're ignorant because they don't think like you. This way you can send them out into this intolerant ignorant world understanding not everyone is of your opinion, but that's okay 👍🤗

      The difference is discussing natural phenomena with the scientific method actually has evidence and doesn’t require lying to a child or shaming them for just being human. Religion has given me crippling trauma and scars I will bear for the rest of my life. There is literally nothing you can gain in religion that you can’t gain in a secular way, and with the secular option you don’t risk crippling trauma and abuse to a literal child.
