Great test video! We have received your feedback and strengthened the packaging at the rear of the car. Looking forward to the upcoming modification video.😆
Congratulations and well done for getting so many upgrade and mod parts released with the actual vehicle. Packaging and manuals all felt like other big premium brands so you are 100% on the right track.
you need to give this car to real speedrunners, who know what theyre doing as its mainly interest for the speedrun community. Unfortunately i only saw everyone bash it around and crash it every run as they dont know how to set it up and control it at those speeds. thats a bit disappointing.
Glad to see you were one of the lucky few to have received the CF version. So far, you & Tomley are the only two I'm aware of to have received the CF...all others I'm aware of received the aluminum brushless versions. Can't wait to receive mine (along with the extra 'goodies' I'll receive for being one of the first 500).
At 11:22 the 120 A brushless waterproof ESC is the exact same as mine in Carbon Brushless, except mine is turned 180 degrees from yours (purchased 10/2023). I also notice that ESC is very fan loud. After turning it on, ESC get's to high fan before even driving it (runs fine). It might supposed to be like that, it's my first RC supercar so I don't know. It's very fast and handles well out of box for sure.
The hedge on 1 side and bushs on other side are most perfectly trimmed ever! Nice car too mate. Hopefully when i realize my dream of living on a narrow boat in U.K. canal sys. I may drive that same perfectly pruned road.
Good to see the carbon fiber version finally getting sent out for review. Hope the quality control issues are rectified before production versions are sent out.
Yep just arrived this morning. I can see a fix for the exhaust breaking being implemented quickly. The ESC is an easy fix as the kit comes with a load of extra sticky pads so I can fit that again no problem. Next video we do some mods, up the spur and pinion and go for 4S. That should really wake this thing up LOL
@@RCKickschannel I don't plan on ever running it over 3s... the sweet spot for a 1/10 rc.... should remain "bashable". 4s stability on such a short chassis is a concern.

If you’re wanting to put in some speed runs one thing I would do is drop the suspension down , as it is now looks like it will probably lift once past 60mph
Very nice car. I wholeheartedly agree with you, re gearing it down. If I'd just bought a car like this, having it capable of 70mph out of the box would be pretty intimidating!! I'm looking f8to see the cars, and your progress. 😎👍🏻
Hope you think about going to Elvington speed run event on the 15th April or one of the three Llanbedr ROSSA events this year. Best places to speed run... This looks like the new must have 2S speed run chassis. Look forward to seeing how it progresses in your hands.
It is a very interesting product and I will check it out myself. The red/white coloring scheme does not seem to have been used real cars that were raced back then. Instead, what would have been much more interesting is the 'Pink Pig' paint job. Also, it would be great if the company could expand this product with other body shells of the late 60's to 70's Le Mans racing cars such as Matra Simca, Porsche 908, Gulf Mirage, Porsche 936, Renault Alpine A442, and so on.
This brand is really getting a lot of stuff right. I like offroad more so I'll skip this one but I do think it looks awesome! I'd love to see a trophy truck or a prerunner from them in 1:10 scale. Then I might consider 😂
I think there is a legitimate place for 1/10th scale speed run cars. Yes they are going to be less stabile, twitchier. This is where a lot of people started setting up 1/10 scale buggies for speed run. Hmmm, maybe Gavin, this is a way to utilize a surplus of TT-02 chassis. SPEED RUNS . Just how big a battery motor esc combo can you squish into a TT-02.
First things to do.. get rid of the spare tire lol then ditch the disc brake decorations, put foam tires on.. then focus on the shocks and gearing.. after that ditch the electronics and get a better motor and esc
If people wanted a racer they should get something else. These type of RC customers likes the decorations ( lights, chrome, etc. ) . Some different realism. I don’t blame them.
Looks a lovely car! I’d really like one to try out but at $500 at full price is a lot! That’s Arrma territory. I think the top spec maybe out of reach of a lot of people.
Hey Gavin big fan always watch you stuff. I have an off topic question though. I’ve never had a tamiya and am think about alpine A110 jager meister on the M-06 chassis and wonder what you think about that one? Thanks for all your efforts on your channel!!
The body is not an entry level so take your time if you haven’t done any detailed bodies before. 100% it will look amazing when finished as I love the scale look of these. Chassis isn’t hard to do at all. I have one myself in the build list but it’s a good few months off yet. Go for it!
@@RCKickschannel Gavin, I probably speak for everyone, when I say, we all enjoy ALL of your videos. Wish mine could be as polished as yours...but, I know they never will be. So, instead, I just enjoy RC. 🤙🏼
I'll be getting on of these. I think I'll get a roller. Why? Because I don't think the electronics are up to actual speed running. I have a Tamiya TA-06 that would destroy this car in a race as it comes set-up, even running 2s in my Tamiya vs this on 3s.
I'm kinda late to the party but I just checked the price today (USA) and the Carbon Brushless is now $399.99 only 4 months later!? I've been reading about a lot of customer service issues Rlaarlo apparently has, so their answer is to increase the price by $100!? Supply & demand I guess. Hmmm...still on the fence with this one. Maybe I'll still buy the Traxxas 4-Tec 2.0 but buy the Rlarrlo tires/wheels for it! 🤔 I just see how the Rlaarlo looks like it drives on rails yet I see a lot of 4-Tec 2.0's spinning out of control. Not sure if this is driver or more car. Any thoughts for a guy who's sitting on the fence? 🏎

Why they put 160kph when you have to change the esc / motor / gearing / tires /ect to even come close. So the roller probably says 160 kph also. It’s to small to be a real speed run chassis. Yea I’m knocking it but it does have a beautiful manual

I am going to tell you about my experience with this garbage car and this garbage brand, I bought the Rlaarlo ak 917 carbon fiber version, and the first thing when making the purchase I bought it with fast shipping paying 19 euros more for said shipping, supposedly it arrived in a week, well, lie, it took me 20 days to arrive, when it arrived it arrived with the steering out of adjustment, with one wheel facing one side and the other facing the opposite side, after looking closely at the car I realized that the screw that The connection between the servo arm and the servo horn was loose, and then I realized that one of the two small screws that the servo horn has is missing. In addition, this car has a serious signal loss problem. I am writing to the support. technician of this garbage brand, and until today they have been giving me my time, they say that the missing screw is too small to send it, anyone who buys this car forgets to be able to return it is impossible, they brag that they have good technical support and it is a garbage, just like the customer treatment, I do not recommend products from this brand, it is a waste of money
