As a “player” under 30, yeah Peter Frampton out does most of us at 70 with a muscular disease. Lots of us do strive for that level, regardless of achieving it or not, you just won’t see such people getting famous anymore with what’s popular.
For instance, I teach, I’m no Frampton, but I try, and the majority of the absolute best musicians I’ve seen over the years weren’t famous and often considered the industry poison at this point, so they do their own little thing. It takes a certain kind of person to climb to fame today… Frampton was able to get famous in a time when it was only so soul killing

First time I saw Peter Frampton was at Day on the Green in Oakland it was July 2,1977 I was 14 at the time sitting behind the 375 sign on the left field wall for the Oakland A’s. Ever since that summer day Peter Frampton has been my favorite musician. Fast forward to today , now I’m 58 and he still is a treasure to us fans . Peter we love you ❤️🤩

I could stay the rest of my life listening to Peter´s magical guita solos.
I’ve seen Peter many times. Always gives 110%. A true master at his craft.
So great. Love Frampton. No wear on his face either like he’s been drinking and drugging his long career. Looks like he’s always been high on the music. Fresh, authentic, great style.
In my humble opinion as a guy who loves classic rock, there are 5 outstanding guitar players, and they are Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Carlos Santana, Mark Knopfler and of course, Mr. Frampton. There are no other that can compare. Have had the pleasure of seeing both Eric and Peter, and I regret I never got to see Stevie Ray, who was taken from us way to soon.

It's always packed for Frampton in Detroit. I can assure you they may have given some lawns seats away for a food drive a week out from the show but the Pavillion and was all paid. I know this because we're 15 rows back in this video.
Detroit is a unique market, we love music and pack venues like Pine Knob as you see here. A lot of time when you look at the bands show dates before and after Detroit and they're half the size.

Gary Live in Detroit was a very nice Show However I was again Lucky enough to have been at his First Released Concert Video at the Filmore in SF June 95 it was only 5000 of us and of all the 20 + PF Shows I attended it was The BEST show I saw in my life !! better then Zepplin SRV RUSH NUGENT ect. ect, Electricity everywhere PF was ON the Band, Mayo Regan & JR very TIGHT and we Did our part very well also you can see for yourself look for the Video its called " FRAMPTON COMES ALIVE II " oh Lying was pretty Damn good that night to

Excellent...this is what a great song is all about the way the lyrics flow...the 3 lead solos were perfect all the guys cooking and driving the song, the great ending notes with Frampton smiling and tossing the pick...! I ain't lying....

Perfect..Peter was my first concert..Colt Park, Hartford..Comes Alive Tour 76.. this was my introduction to live music, does it get better ? No.. shaped my reality of vocals and beat guitarist in the world. There was 35,000 ppl there..my 16 yo self worked my way right to the stage..Gary Wright opened..there were ppl passed out on the ground next to me.

That outdoor venue in Detroit is very similar to the Concord Pavillion in CA when I saw Peter for the Ringo All Star Project back in late 90s :-)
