sometime internet recovery does not work for the slow internet or network problem! you can use the bootable USB method to complete the process ! i have a video on that ! to create a bootable USB you need to use another mac computer !

@@Iamkantiray No go. I did the OS installation on a different working mac but it said it was prohibited when I tried launching it from my mac. It's formatted APFS with the latest operating system. I believe my iMacs current OS is Mojave so it should be fine since it was after High Sierra. Guess I'll try for Mac OS Extended (Journaled) tomorrow. It won't let me erase the drive in disk recovery/utility on my computer.

Yes you can do that or if internet recovery take longer time or have problem with the internet connection I will recommend you to do make a bootable installer pen drive using someone else’s computer! Terrible video. I don't want to go into detail of why it's so terrible because I will probabily say some very harsh things. That being said, try to prepare for your videos better and keep the dialog as simple as possible.

Just extract the dmg file to app folder don’t need to install and follow the comments or you can download the app file of Mac OS from google search

Use Ethernet if you can. Ethernet is easier than USB.

I believe there is a problem. you need to redo the things again. if it does not work try the USB method.
