Sinner and Fritz made a mockery out of Rublev and Rune, respectively! Both played powerful tennis, generating some amazing winners, and great service games. I’m particularly impressed with Sinner’s change in game style, going more aggressive and also serving harder. The extra mass he has gained in his body seems to have made all the difference.
I agree. The first time I saw Sinner play he impressed me. I thought then he had potential. Now he is getting there, gradually working his way to the top four and getting better. Sinner has some incredibly challenging poweful shots that even can put Carlos on the edge. I expect him to compete for the number one position quite successfully in the tournaments coming up (Frech Open, Wimbledon, possibly Eastbourne). Taylor Fritz is another player with a great potential. I believe he should work on his fitness more in order to last throughout the game and not drain his ebergy for the power games. Taylor is from a neighbouring town close by and I believe he has it within him to make it to the very top. Some of the others I expected in the tournaments have not advanced very well (overall). Players such as Shapo from Canada and Alex Z. from Germany. Then again, others I thought would do well, such as Rublev and Stephanos Tsit... also have not been coming through as expected.
First Sinner must beat the rising Ruusuvuori. After that we can wait for the clash of the young titans, Sinner and Alcaraz. But something tells me Ruusuvuori will give Jannik a run for his money. A tie-break decision with a fluke ball, most likely, ending the match.

I believe Tomic used that excuse to justify his tanking, and the ATP specifically made a statement that you could opt out of the masters if you had a injury.
