Sounds great! I just started making wing bone calls in 2021. What is that thread coated with? Haven’t been able to figure that out yet. I want to coat mine. Thanks for this video.
When making,,,,Look at hole size in smallest bone. The bigger the hole, the shorter overall length call when finished. I never let a call turn out better than 6¹/2" - 7". I've also made some from goose wingbones. One of the biggest things is to make sure the joints on the call is sealed really good. I try to help folks out and I've enjoyed so far more or less introducing the air Operated call back into the picture! I've had to many encounters with gobblers over the years involving a air Operated type call!
Mine are any of them. It doesn't matter. What does matter is based on experience you learn how to cut them far as length before putting together. Before hand look at how big a hole in small bone. Bigger the hole is, the shorter the overall finished length will need to be. If you have a large hole in small bone and total length of call ends up being 8" to say, the call will probably be deeper sounding than you wanted. I like Jake bones. I get good all around sounds from them.
Do you make the wingbone calls to sale? I have been looking for a hen bone for a few years now. We can’t kill hens here in Mississippi so it’s been hard to find some hen bone’s or jakes.
I ship calls regularly. I may have enough bones to make a extra call. That's the problem with real bone calls and due to them being made only from wild Turkeys. I also have the Wing Wood Caller that ships almost everyday. It produces the same killer sounds as the bone call. If you want one or the other contact me through my business page on Facebook or my email is, talkwildstyle@yahoo.com.
Deadly sounding brother
E excellent presentation. Dry cut instruction. Thank you.
the Jake bone call I really like
Jake bones have a unique hole size. I get pretty much all around sounds from them.

I been trying to find a hen wingbone for a few years. We can’t kill hens in Mississippi. We don’t have enough land to get permits in the fall.
We can here if they have a beard.
Sounds good
Well said and well played. There's just something about a wingbone in the turkey woods!
This has to be the best video I have seen yet on wingbone calls..I've been making these for years and not really using them .

@@mossescreekoutdoors5765 I use to do little paintings on them and sell them. Back in the late 90's early 2000's..
Sounds amazing ! I know from experience that’s hard to make them sound that good. Great video !👍🏻
They killers when you get them right!
@@mossescreekoutdoors5765 No doubt ! Good luck this coming season !
And where do you get that little black rubber piece?
Lip stops are Faucet washers. Go to your hard ware and they should have a drawer full.

Great. Thank you very much. What is the thread coated with?
@TheSouthernsurvivor coated with super glue and then clear over that after the glue is dry.
They all sounds good especially the 2 piece gobbler call.
Are your wingbone calls made from the bones of a gobbler, jake and hen wing bones? The wingbone calls I make all all from a gobbler wings only.

Can a person buy one
I have real calls sometimes. Problem with real Wingbones is I'm pretty limited on bones. Sometimes someone will send me bones to make them one from.
