Here's my FULL Star Wars Andor Episode 9 video and Easter Eggs. Let me know how many you spotted! Here's my House Of The Dragon Season 2 video too! ruclips.net/video/iH71rh9ZVw4/видео.html
Can't wait for episode 10 you know shit is about go down😆
I think it worked like this -- everyone who is "released" ends up on another level. The mistake was putting him back on a level that could communicate with the level he came from -- so that the whole level became aware of the fact that no one is getting out, which necessitated killing them all so they couldn't spread that knowledge.
"How many guards on each level?"
"Never more than twelve." 😠
What a killer ending. Andy Serkis is superb.
I just had the most horrible thought -- what if getting "released" means you actually get turned into food -- like that goo they keep sucking through their feeding tubes? I'm worried that's coming. 😮
Andy's acting add SO MUCH value on Andor... hope we can see more of him outside of motion capture.
Is Syril the future thron?
" Never more than twelve". I'm so ridiculously hyped for the inevitable breakout. Andy Serkis totally stole this episode.
Nice!
Yep. That dude's voice is my life goal. I just need to drink black coffee, smoke 6 packs a day, and gargle stones.
I really hope he makes it out with Andor
He fought and fought against Andor the whole time, always evading his guard count questions, and then when he succumbs to his fate in the last scene, and his face turns hard when he is asked yet again, so good...
I'm so hyped for next week!
Not only does "Nobody's Listening" refer to the guards not bothering to listen to the prisoners, but also Mon Mothma's speech to the Senate as senators turn out their lights and leave while she's speaking.
It has multiple interpretations, it’s also a phrase that the rebels early on believed. That the channels they use to plot are safe because the Empire isn’t listening. But that hubris cost them good men on the Aldani heist. Plus it also a reference to now the rebels learned they have to start cutting comms, because the ISB is monitoring comm channels.
Also, me with my bosses at work lol
Also with Syril and not being able to get Dedra to listen to him
Also with Syril and his mother. they talk to each other, but neither of them cares to hear the other party.
Andor has given us some of the best depictions of the Empire's actual fascism and daily oppression in Star Wars.
Andy Serkis has been killing it... You can really feel the emotional weight and conflict in everything he says.
I just want to see Keno go full "Rambo" on the guards!
He's already throwing people around lol.
So damn true, his facial expressions are also on point, really conveys a lot with so little and he does it spectacularly
Man they REALLY need to put the people in charge of this show in charge of ALL of Star Wars
They both understand this universe and how to write a compelling and thrilling story
just give to favrou and filoni
@@dankmotionsstudios5161 no, not exactly. The Andor writers are not SW fans and that's why they don't care about the usual expectation one may have from an SW movie. No jedi, lightsabers etc. Instead, they're making a dark spy thriller that just happens to be in the SW sandbox. And it's glorious.
I'd say they understand it. Changing the usual format and making it work takes pinpoint precision
@@Peterski So what SW needs to be good is less SW. 👍
This episode was an 11/10. Omg it was so well written
It was a great episode!
The Dr. Gorst character was a very underrated part of the episode. His glee while explaining the torture device to Bix was unsettling. Classic creepy Imperial guy. They cast the actor perfectly, hope we see more of him.
He wakes up enjoying his work every day. That is a whole different level of evil right there
Andy Serkis crushed this episode i really hope he doesn’t get killed off
Same. He is an amazing actor
But if he does, realizing he’s going to die there that it was going to be on his own terms.
My guess is he’ll die a hero’s death during the escape
We know that it is rare to team with Andor and live! Only 2 survived Aldhani.
@@waltciii3 that’s what I’m scared of! If i was a writer for the show I’d probably do it. Makes sense for the story and character
This show is incredible I love the insight we are being provided into the empire that the live-action movies have never shown. This is the most grounded stars war live-action show & it's fantastic. Action is great but excellent writing & acting is just as effective to tell this story
The empire in this show is actually very scary. Because it seems quite competent.
@@Peterski I think people always think that evil is foolish and bumbling when history has shown it is anything but. The writing is superb and you can feel the tension of the characters as they walk out this life. These pockets of brilliance at Disney need to be replicated. Not other weird trash shows going on
I had my doubts about Andor before it aired...then I watched the first episode. Each week's episode is better than the last. I look forward to your reviews as much as the episodes Charlie. It's like talking to your best work mate about your favourite show. Loyal viewer in Queensland Australia 🇦🇺
Thank you for being the first breakdown I’ve seen today that actually gets that Syril’s stalker behavior towards Dedra was creepy not flirty. So many reactors were swooning over their interaction that I thought I was losing my mind. He’s written a whole fantasy in his head about her that she had nothing to do with, and the way he grabbed her arm was a step way out of bounds. Originally, I was hoping they’d work together, but now I hope she crushes him on her way to the top and that’s what prevents the Empire from truly stopping Andor.
He has screws loose, as in there is a reason he worked contractor security and not recruited into empire security agency like Dedra! He is a creeper. The interaction with the analysts was beyond aggressive after being told to stand down. Insubordination is the problem, so who knows what he might do next.
I have a feeling if Dedra were to crush him, he'd be the kind of guy to actually enjoy it lol
*This episode was good. Dedra & Kino Loy stood out the most & the senate is slowly being shut down. Dedra was very intense with Bix & I loved Kino's shift by the end of the episode. I truly can't wait for these last three episodes coming up next.*
One thing you missed mate was the way that they filmed the scene with the door closing on Bix in the torture room. It was filmed "EXACTLY" the same way that Leias door closes in episode IV when vader is torturing her!
I honestly thought you might of picked that but go re watch it.. It was awsome. And I loved it!
Thought I was the only one that caught that
That's why we're here in the comments tho lol
@@motion-movies Nope some of us did too... Keeping coming back for more
If you like that shot, check out the the shot when they first bring Bix into the interrogation room. The Dysonite sound plays for just a split second. It's the same sound used in a New Hope before they torture Leia. I guess the droid in a New Hope used an injection and the Dysonite scream.
Noticed that. In the series there are a few shots that call back to other films, based on camera moves, wipes, etc.
Some Notes
Imperial Military Intelligence, distinct & sometime competitor of the ISB, is mentioned by Major Partagaz in the meeting. Captain Tigo has been promoted, his three blue squares on his rank badge are now four. But he still takes his cues from Lt. Supervisor Meero, which lends to the idea that the ISB holds more power (at least politically) than their military counterparts, as seen by Admiral Yulareen himself moving to the agency.
The door closing cutaway as Bix is being tortured is very reminiscent & pays homage of the same scene from A New Hope.
Andor’s team won as seen as them eating with plates.
Simple Math: that makes it 12 guards VS 343 prisoners.
Sent from my iSB
May want to double check that math……
Thought so, too. It‘s 12 guards on each level and there‘s 7 of them, right?
But it doesn’t really matter, because if they really plan on getting their hands on the boots, a max of 12 people can get out unless they manage to break the floor system. Maybe that‘s what Andor‘s trying to do during his breaks. Getting the heat system to malfunction…
@@sponkianna8652 I think the fact that the guards have had trouble making it around the facility is that they're doing double duty meaning the 12 number includes guards from other levels. In effect, there might only be 6 guards or so assigned to any specific level and others have to come fill in from other levels. andor has figured this out...I think.
Ok you jump 1 guard then they shock all, you cant put boots on while shocked.
Since the elevator aint wired they have shock rods.
If you take 1 level the commander just raise alarm, initiates lockdown. All guard codes invalid. Lets wait for the Navy, shall we.
Ok grats you killed all guards, even the Commander. Good luck swimming into the turbines, whirlpools, then reach the shores and hide like a caveman. Yaay.
They need transport. They need to time their attack tight so can suprise incoming transport.
Shuttles barely had room for 20. 1400 prisoners. Surely they won't mind.
By the way we can expect transports of 101 new inmates. Level 2 and Ulaf's replacement.
Ok now I'm convinced it's gonna be sooo easy. Riiiiight. So stupid these Imperials.
I just realized something: Dierdra's assistant has been more and more proactive without her direct orders. In a normal world it would be a godsend to have a second so competent, so maybe she's starting to think having Syril as a third might be a good thing. Or, maybe she's starting to think her assistant is becoming a threat, and Syril could fill that future vacancy.
good observation/prediction
He even got promoted, outranks lt. Meero, see his uniform. But he is Imperial (Military) intelligence officer. ISB leads, II and others comply, as the Emperor ordered.
Yup. I agree. Exactly what I was thinking. As she was advised, “what your back”
The assistant is riding her coattails, but the look she gave him multiple times speaks volumes, especially when he stepped up to the table and spoke out loud rather than in her ear… low-key sexism, really great writing this episode. It made think back to the Obi wan series when seeking power/ ranking will bring your downfall, his days are numbered.
Assistant is aiming for her job 100%
The acting in this series is arguably the best in the entire franchise. Deedra actress and Andy serkis absolutely stole the show. You really see how the Empire created their own rebels with their cruelty.
that finishing line had such a huge impact. Great build up. Exceptional writing. Cant wait for next episode.
I’m going to need to re watch.
My take was the prisoner wasn’t “accidentally” put back in… but was very purposely put back in, on a different level, and once their sentence was done, they just moved to a different part of the prison
That was my understanding too. And when he was put on level 2 and told them how he just got done with his sentence but was just moved instead of released it caused an uprising so they killed them all
Syril is so interesting (understatement). Until this episode, we haven’t been privy to the darker areas of his character. Stalking Dedre was something I didn’t see coming, but it’s consistent with what we know about Syril. To Syril, order is power, but he himself feels powerless. Dedre embodies everything he’s desperately yearning for. Poor Syril, however, is so awkward socially, this yearning inevitably manifests as stalking.
He's a simp
When he grabs her arm though, it might be the first time in the series that she is touched. He likes her, but she likes him too.
@@maximusdecimusmeridus She didn't show in any way that she likes him, she showed the exact opposite. How come you came to this conclusion when it has made it clear that she loath him for stalking her, touching her and being unsubordinate?!
This is by far the best Star Wars show that Disney has done - very much akin to some of the better Star Wars books. Really showing how savage the Empire is
It’s being shown that even though SW was written and filmed decades ago, they can add terrifying new context to the series. The end of rogue one with Vader completely changed my view of him. Same with this series. You can feel the oppression and ruthlessness of the empire in every scene. Well done
The stalker scene in Andor creeped me out more than the foot scene in House of the Dragon. It’s real world creepy.
I can't imagine that Dedra is trying to throw Syril off Andor's scent. She has the authority to have him catapulted into the sun. Why play games when you can just have someone disappeared. No questions asked and no one would miss him. I'm really hoping that Gilroy isn't going to try and spring a giant plot twist on us with the antagonist being a long-lost family member trope. I'm hoping she's just straight up evil.
I'm with you. I refuse to believe the theory that dedra is his sister. It would be stupid.
Also, dedra isn't evil. She's dedicated. She believes in the empire and that she needs to do her best to keep it safe.
I’d rather she be ruthless and her telling off Syril, will push him into the rebels. It would be silly to see “This girl doesn’t like me so I’m gonna do everything against her” trope . But Syril seems to really want “Order and Peace” but he may just be a follower looking for a stronger figure to follow.
@@Peterski I'm sorry but torture is evil. Callously, flippantly, and blithely detailing the genocide of an entire species is evil. Syril is dedicated. Dedra is evil. What makes her so is not relevant to fact. She can be both at the same time.
@@QuestionMan My sentiments exactly
Dedra told his superiors that he was "of service to the empire" and thats probably why Syrl got the promotion.
Charlie I just want to say a huge thank you for being the best breakdown channel. Your unbiased takes are appreciated as it allows fans to hear about the show and form their own opinions. Keep up the awesome videos!
I appreciate that!
The end of this episode was one of the strongest moments of dramatic acting I’ve responded to in the far far away galaxy … truly can’t wait for the next episode!
I don't know if its an easter egg, but when they began torturing Bix, the camera did a sharp dive into the floor. That reminded me of the scene in A New Hope, when the interogation machine approached Princess Leia.
It gets better and better with each episode! We need more Star Wars outside of the main characters. With the proper writting and directing Andor prooved SW can make some great drama shows.
I don't think the prisoner was 'accidently' put back into prison, i think they got put back into prison because the empire cant let it be known that they are probably building the death star (or at least parts of it) there...
Dedra is pretty clearly playing Syril like a violin. To what end I'm less sure but she didn't seem displeased by his sudden loyalty to her so much as the fact she hadn't noticed him stalking her on previous days. I'm pretty sure she's playing a deeper game in a few areas - not only Syril but things like her plan with the captured rebel pilot for instance. Let's not remember how upset she was about the PORD not because it was "evil" per se but because it was bad strategy and playing into rebel hands.
His ability to shadow/stalk Dedra that long without her knowing is actually impressive. Dude would make a great undercover agent for the Empire.
really loving the dystopic vibe from the prison episodes, serkis is absolutely killing it, his character turned from obedient kool aid drinker to convert.
My take on Daedra getting Cyril a promotion is just that she honestly thinks the Empire should reward people with his dedication to order.
If Andor was part of building the death star only to be a key rebel in the destruction of it and ending up dying for it. The universe went full circle with this.
“It’s like poetry. It rhymes.”
And how he knew how to destroy it... Ding!
As we find out, the length of the sentence doesn't matter. But they're counted in shifts, not days. Kino had 217 shifts left.
This episode was painful. I was worried Ulaf was going to get his hand injured from the start of the episode. By the 30 minute mark I was terrified something even worse was going to happen. The medic's visit was both a relief and a heartbreak.
That last line, though. O.M.G. This show is so good.
deedra being andors sister is one of the best theories i have heard so far
Hoping Andy Serkis character survives the next escape
Man, this series is getting better and better. My favourite Star Wars together with Mandalorian.
When Syril grabs Dedra's arm, he says "the future was a dream worth clinging to" as he's clinging to her. This might be the first time her character is even touched in the series. Love interest!
Ulaf- “did we light the fire ?”
Andor- “ yes , the fire rises!”
At the end of the interrogation scene at the start, the door closes and the camera pans down then up from the floor as a guard walks past, in an identical way as then Leia was on the Deathstar in ANH
I don't know if it's me ,but man that syril, and dedra scene at the ISB HQ actually made me giggle so hard. Probably my favorite part of the episode XD.
I had a feeling Kino was gonna get on board with this escape. Ulaf was the true trigger. May he Rest In Peace.
Also I like how I went from rooting for Dedra to wanting her, the ISB and the rest of the empire to be buried six feet under.
Did u root for her or her moles ?
I think kino's trigger was the knowledge that he's not going to get released in 200 shifts
Both are true, they wanted to get those 40 shifts out of Ulaf. Now the timeframe for next in has been expedited to the next day. The positive is Kino being on board so more flexibility to the game plan. Next episode is going to be spectacular!
The way oreilly glows when the camera pans to her, and the way she delivers her lines, reminds me of julie andrews and the way she delivered her lines in the sound of music. That 60s movie vibe babyyy
I got the impression they didn’t live stream the massacre because it was only the 3 imperial observers that ended up huddled in various states of emotional distress. If they had live streamed the massacre to the galaxy it would of happened to everyone that listened.
I have my doubts on the Dedra is Andor’s sister theory. However I do think that she will end up recruiting Syril after Andor escapes and they realize they had him this whole time.
It's deff a kewl idea. Since the first episode was about his sister and then they completely dropped the subject. And then NXT thing u know Dedra starts working her way towards Andor. I'm not 100% sure about it either but its a kewl way to slide her in the story and give u a reason to go back an watch it again. Which Disney has failed with I believe in their other s.w. works
I saw it as pure sexual tension between the two. Damn, I read that SO wrong.😊
The girl looked totally different. Not her sister. She might turn up in another rebel cell.
I thought Karn gonne be hired, but seems this show is intelligent. You dont hire from the street. Academy, etc.
Max. an outside asset who helps. He heard Axis. Finding him for his idol, that would stirr things up.
It’s the one negative loop that is here. Facial recognition should have picked him up when he entered the prison. They have that tech now for kids in classroom to track attendance in schools.
@@danieljuhnke02, you would think so but I think you could easily use Andor’s continued point that the Empire doesn’t care. If it was up to Dedra you bet your ass she would be doing that! But in reality bureaucrats like LT Blevin don’t give a shit about the identity of their factory prisoners, just how many they have and how productive they are.
Never been more hyped about a single line.
I believe Dedra when she said she didn’t have anything to do with Syril’s promotion. I don’t think it would occur to her that anyone would disregard her direct order (and threats) as an ISB Officer. Perhaps when he returned from the “interview” unscathed Syril’s supervisor assumed there’s more to him than meets the eye and promoted him in case it turns out he’s now spying for the ISB or valuable to the ISB in some other way. I don’t think Dedra gave Syril another thought once she dismissed him.
Yes, thank you. People who keep looking for a mystery motives behind dedra watched too many JJ Abrams shows. Good writers don't need to rely on mystery boxes.
This was amazing. The tension, the quiet build up. Just wow
Such a good episode. Love the Death Star Detention shot during Bix's interrogation.
I absolutely love this series. Seems to get better and better with every episode. One thing I do not understand, the level 2 incident. This part made no sense to me. Either they transfer them to another prison? Or kill them? Can't imagine they would kill people unless they were old and feeble. And why kill an entire floor, for what they could claim is a simple mistake? Unless an uprising occurred. I hope more is divulged about this.
This has really brought me emotionally back into Star Wars. I want to see the villains of this series face justice. It gives me so much reason to hate the Empire. It adds to the existing content as well, Luke’s heroism seem even more important when I can see the level of evil he is up against more clearly.
Dedra's actress has said she becomes incredibly viscious over the next few episodes.
I think you got it wrong Charlie, I thought they figured out that they never leave instead of getting released they just get put back on another level. Am I trippin?
They didn't kill level 2 to "not get in trouble." They did it because the inmates learned the truth about never being released.
I don’t think I’ve heard you catch this, the other guy working with Andor in the prison is in Rogue One, rebellion fighter. Duncan Pow is the actor.
I can’t remember ever being so jacked at the end of any Star Wars episode. Andy Serkis could make me geek out if he was hosting Antiques Road Show.
Just finished watching the latest episode. Just keeps getting better and better.
nice!
Dedra was blushing lol she actually liked the fact that someone was looking at her in that way. He bout to smash. Y'all calling Cyril a Simp but he may have more game than you realize. Wait till she wakes up next to him one morning and sit at that table eating cereal with him and his mom. What y'all gonna say then??? 🤣
Insane levels of copium right now
Syril and his mom might be the best part of Andor, their relationship, great acting!
I feel like Dedra is Andor's sister; it would be an awesome plot twist.
I wonder what they are going to do with the boots situation? If there are only 12 guards per level at the most, then that is no where close to being enough for every prisoner to be able to get a set. This show has been so good I am really looking forward to seeing how they do the prison break!
Really cool to see that Vel is Mothmas cousin! Can’t wait for next weeks episode. Thanks for all ur awesome breakdowns Charlie
Thanks man!

Amazing amazing review Charlie as always and omg Andy Serkis absolutely killed it in this episode , it gets better week by week, totally cannot wait for next week's episode for sure
I am loving this series! The episodes get better and better every week!
There was quick homage to Leia’s torture scene from A New Hope, where they close the door on Bix right when it gets started and quickly pans to a guard walking down the hallway.
I was thinking that the prisoners NEVER get out. When their time is up, prisoners are just transferred to another level and warned that if they talk, everyone on that level will get executed.
MY FAV EP SO FAR
Tony Gilroy is simply a cinematic genius
great episode! It was fascinating seeing the whole prison storyline. Poor Ulaf, could see the poor guys fate coming but it was still sad. I can't wait to see what will happen when the empire finally will realize that they had Cassian in their hands and had no idea.
Vel's rich mother/father would be Mon's aunt/uncle if they are cousins.
No way Dedra went from being a stripper to getting into the ISB in a few years..No,i don't think she's secretly Andor's sister.
Good observation. Would make for 1 hell of a plot hole though. lol 😂
Incredible, a Star Wars (Disney) show that’s driven by dialogue and character actions and motivations..
Andor and Rogue One are/were so good, that within five years, Star Wars is going to start making tv series about Music Concerts at the Cantina, Real Housewives of Jawas, Cooking with the Chefs of Coruscant, The Sarlac Pit (ala Shark Tank), Big Hand Poker at the Canto Bight Casino, A Porg Kids show, etc.
Damn this show is good. Made me fall back in love with the Star Wars universe.
The man that dies, ULAF, is a well known character actor Christophe Fairbanks. He's in the background of the Mandalorian episode The Marshal. He's sitting in the back of the crowd in the bar when the discussion is of killing the kkrryake dragon. He also plays the Broker buyer of odd things in the first Guardian of the Galaxy, the one with the sprouts of hair/feathers sprouting on his face & head that ushers Star-Lord out of his shop...
you're usually pretty accurate on your predictions. But I get zero vibes that Deidra is Cassanian's lost sister.
Dedra hasn't caught up to the full implications of her star being on the rise. Her order to put a note in Syril's file that he 'was of help' was enough to get him a promotion. She seems more confused by this than anything else (I mean that guy? Really?). Her job is more important and suddenly she has efficient and ambitious underlings of her own. The Empire has taken notice of her and that's going to seem really good until she slips up and realizes that despite her devotion the Empire doesn't love her at all.
I agree with a lot of the comments about the quality of the show. It gets better with each episode.
I love theorising, what will happen. Anyone planning to watch the whole serie at once misses this.
For me this was one of the best episodes so far.
Is it only me thinking the recording used for torture is not simply kids screaming? More like some kind of telepathy, specific sound causing unusual effect in the brain? All monitoring officer just shaking below a ship's bridge isn't just hearing cruelity. You wont scream in agony and loose ability to speak hearing cruelity, no matter how heartbreaking it is.
Don't forget this universe had it's unique ways, like Saw Gerrera's mind sucking creature in Rogue One. And if such things present then the Empire will use it.
I have also realised Bix was as much as loose end as Andor. She saw Luthen mutliple times. The only difference is Andor saw his ship, which Luthen even mentioned.
Still there were no order to "neutralize" her. So i was thinking about this, i presume someone saying "old man in robes" isn't too helpful, but if a specific, not common ship type is named
that's easier to find. Also Andor is connected to a bigger terrorist attack, so treated as a bigger fish by ISB, bigger attention, so more reason to neutralize him I suppose.
However if they know approx. when "Axis" was visiting Bix they could check the logs for ships coming and leaving from/to the planet every time.
To counter this Luthen might have used a device to cloak his ship to not send any ID and sneaked in, or even mimiced a fake ID to trasmit, different each time. I'm sure however while traffic is thousands and thousand times bigger at Coruscant still I presume the level of security is the best there, so he might weren't able to use fake ID nor simply sneak in there.
The tension at the prison was portraited so well, slowly increasing and making us wait.... So good. It's unlogical for me to reprison inmates at the same place then kill all who realised this, I'm pretty sure they fckd up, here they just lie, those to be released are to be taken to another prison where everyone is aware they won't ever gets released, and treated all the time knowing they will try anything. (this is why they fried level 2, not just shocked them dozen times to threaten)
Also it's irrelevant if they overcome some guards. They are on an artificial island, no transport.
The director can definitely initiate lockdown protocol, disabling guard codes, closing all.
They need to capture the commander, even then the only transport is those bringing new inmates, even replacement for Ulaf, who got ill and senitised ending him.
Maybe they will just time it well, still if they attack when new ones bought in the transport is long gone, they need to lure the guards just before that.
Vel being the cousin of Mon was a 9 out of 10 level of suprise for me.
However that scene where Karn walked to Lt. Meero was 11 out of 10. The actors acting was simply perfect. I felt even some sparks despite how awkward the situation was, how bad he flopped and how shocked she was. He admires her, and pretty sure not many try to get close to Lt Meero.... I understand this was stalking for jormal people. But for two such strange characters, it might be the first step.
Also some mentioned this time the Senate wasn't so empty. In my parliament when they discuss something specific, only preparing a report/law or something there are only a few present. When there is a general session especially with voting then everyone is there. I'm pretty sure those who turned down their lights were supporters of the act and the Emperor, while many not yet convinced were still open to hear Mon Monthma's argument.
Many blames Mon Monthma's husband that he is just a jerk. But think about it how many of you knows someone who is bored by politics? Or don't want to talk about suffering and starving people 24/7. Not saying he can't be a total asshole, but we can't be sure, yet. And since this side of him is an obsticle to her it is shown. We can't know yet if he's got other sides too.
By the way I'm curious what a low life criminal thug want to ask from Mon for 400k. I imagine him like Jabba the Hut. To support and vote for something? To delay something? Hmm.
Also wonder about the leaked rebel attack arc. Maybe Luthen or even Andor sister gets involved?
Superb script, talented actors, great set, good directing. So good.
Now I'm heading to the movie sites to give another 10 for this episode. Our feedbacks, ratings are crucial to support such shows, and takes 1 minute to visit the two biggest. :)
One thing is sure: 1500 prisoners, sorry now 1400 cant esc... Wait a minute! If 100 were fried then with Ulaf the Empire need to transport 101 new prisoners! Minimum 5 transport shuttle! Or something bigger.
I understand this was stalking for normal people. But for two such strange characters, it might be the first step.

P. S. Craziest idea 1: Ulaf faked his illness, part of the plan (not likely)
Crasiest idea 2: the thug who has money (400k) is a wealthy Chandrian. Future center of the Republic. What if he wants to fight the Empire and by the way he wants a bride, wife for his SON.... Da Da aaaaa Yep Mon's daughter. Shakalakakaaa For the Republic, honey.
Craziest idea 3: a Rebel cell is planning to free the prisoners. Good for morale, to send message, to recruit. All nice and dandy... Until
We see Vel with them, and in the chaos she raises her gun... Aims.... Episode ends. Goddamit you can't end it here! :)
It's giving "Brooks was Here" vibes F for Ulaf
he was 2 days from retirement...
next episode be like: ARE WE BLIND!? DEPLOY THE SHOCKS!!!
So dark so gritty so well written 💯💯
"Her rich mother or father is Mon Mothma's sister or brother." That's not how cousins work. Vel's parents would be Mon's aunt and uncle, one by blood and one by marriage (assuming they are still married).
Syril the Simp Lord
Ain't a simp if she low-key feeling him? Which is believe she is. So he may got more game than you think lol.
“NOBODY’S LISTENING!!!”
- Andor
Amazing review ,and video as always Charlie this show is getting better , and I love it 🔥.
We are not worthy of such great acting, directing, and writing.
Really enjoying Andor... Episode 9 was solid... I think a miss regarding the prison setting is the lack of different species in the prison... Small detail and nothing crazy at all, but it would be cool to see versus only humans.
Made me curious too, but when I rewatched episode 9 and “Keef” is asked for name and home planet… it was as if a predetermined work camp was assigned. Plus, only human forms were being loaded from the vaca planet he was on. Probably algorithm based in theory and in order with the historical basis for the empire.
Andor is so great , it’s even better than the Mandalorian
there are clearly two different types of shows. Andor is more slow paced politics and Mando is just something entirely different.
@@joon-young9589 mando is a scifi/fantasy western, andor is a dystopian scifi thriller
This episode was tense from start to finish, I think the escape will be ep 11, they will plan in ep 10 and possibly the noose will close when Dedra makes a link to Cassian and head to Narkina 5. The rumor mill will let Cassian and Loy know and ramp up the plan to escape.
This show is bringing sci fi back to Star Wars… it’s incredible. Who isn’t watching and why
I figured Dedra would recruit Syril as he's a fanatic about order and perfect for the Empire, maybe even the ISB. I was surprised when he confronted her outside the ISB building that she didn't give more then either. I love this show. It's the best SW TV since Mando came out. Certainly the best SW since Rogue One in Theaters. I fear this will not get the follow up seasons it deserves. I hope I'm wrong there.
THIS is a Star Wars spinoff done right! The dialogue and screenplay are the stars of this show, on top of the excellent acting! I think this just replaced Mando as my favorite Star Wars Disney show and it ain’t even finished yet!
That torture was terrifying... What do they sound like? Man, they sure played the "audience imagination can be more terrifying" card.
Thank you so much please keep up your amazing works stay safe and have a wonderful and blessed
In Shawshank Redemption, the elderly character actually was released, but he had been so institutionalized by decades in prison, he wasn't able to re-acclimate himself to civilian life, and hung himself. It was one of the things that inspired Andy Dufresne to escape, before he was too institutionalized to enjoy a free life anymore. Well, that and learning he was never going to be freed despite his innocence because he was too useful to the criminal conspiracy running the prison.
Has anyone noticed that Cassian never fully puts his hand behind his head? They're always floating behind his head never fully touching.
A real jail guard would call him out for that.
Karn’s mom reminds me of Yogurt from Spaceballs
We all see why Andy Serkis is an Oscar award nominee!
Dedra being Cassian's sister would be an epic reveal. What if she is just trying to find him to reconnect. 😳
