Seeing that water bottle jammed between the panel visor and window reminded me of a VMO 6 pilot who flew with a jar of peanut butter between his legs, and chowed it down with a spoon. I spent at least 6 years with OV 10s.
@@Rogue-7.62 It's less grandiose than parking it next to the Connie outside the TWA Hotel at JFK. Actually, you could fly a camper conversion anywhere.
That water bottle unsecured gave me the heebie-jeebies. You’re just asking for that thing to come loose and end up lodged under the pedals. CH47 crashed a couple of years ago when an IPad that was not properly secured got lodged in the pedals. There wasn’t enough room for the pilot to reach down and get to it.
In my youth we saw them so many times in Germany, a lot times together with A-10's. Nowadays the Broncos and the A-10's are gone forever and the skies are quiet... ☹️
Was going to say, I swear that is Modjeska and Santiago peaks. I ride my bike up those trails all of the time. I was wondering if you were headed to the BlockHouse in south OC to do some aerobatics. It has been ages since I've practiced out there. Thanks for the great video!

Can't believe you missed the landing... 😢😢 ... great series!
Next time!
It was a bouncy landing, four landings in one, not suitable for RUclips... 😆
Not at all. We had a technical issue, so no posting.

It’s a fancy 172 Lol.
Absolutely a blast to sit here and watch this video. Thank you
Glad you enjoyed it!
A beautifully restored and upgraded bird! Very nicely done.
Always had a thing for this beast. Short field, twin turbine back country...I imagined converting the back into a minimalist camper.
I'm not entirely sure that Flying an OV10 into a camping sight qualifies as being minimalist........just saying it out loud.😅

Skimming those hills near Santiago peak what a view you have there!
Fantastic and great visibility all around. Very stable.
Sure is!
Again waiting for landing eagerly
Promise to get some good landing footage.
I’m just excited for coming aboard for the back seat observation deck seat
How many cost the OV-10BRONCO?
Superb view to port!
Please ad a link to info on how we can apply for an orientation flight…i have a birthday coming up!

also would like to see a narrated time lapse of the build from start to finish
In the works!
Low level maneuvering is amazing
could you talk about the engine and drive train adaptations made the range and speed please
Will do that!

What is your ground speed and your altitude and hopefully you have a tailwind behind you 👌🏾
How about where you were flying and what airport did you land at??
They were flying over the Santa Ana Mountains/Lake Elsinore in Southern California and RTB'ed to KCNO

May I ask what airport did you land at and is there any footage of the landing?
It's Chino Airport , also where there based
Wait.... this is over Corona CA?? I share that airspace, hopefully I'll see this thing in the air sometime soon :)
THAT THING IS FAST HOLY SHIT
Beastly!
Dude... the landing... Please!
Working on it!
Skipped the landing......
Edited out, as was a test flight.
Attach a couple of weedeater motors to a Volkswagen van, add some wings, and viola', you got yourself a Bronco plane. Good stuff.
I see you haz a OV-10, I also like OV-10, can I haz a ride in your OV-10?
Gotta get an Nflight audio cord!😜
Now we are talking. I did not know this was a thing. Checking it out now.

Holy shit an autopilot
Would of loved better cockpit views and to see the landing.
Working on it. Keep the suggestions and feedback coming!
Missed the landing, fail.
Sorry. I will try better.
Why skip the landing???? lol, Geezus
This was a test flight and not all video is public. Working on some future flights with much better landing sequences.
where did u fly out of ? march afb?
No Chino Airport.
ha dude probably slammed this thing into the rwy so he didnt show the landing. classic
Negative. But since this was a test flight some things are not available to the public, but more landing videos will be better planned
