I just appreciate someone spending the money and making a video. No need to be harsh on the guy. It’s HIS a car after all. You want to figure out how it sounds on full throttle then do it on your own car. Audio through video isn’t always transparent anyways.
No mods ever directly void a warranty. A warranty is void when it is determined that the part caused the problem. There’s a lot of gray area to be honest with you and mod at your own risk.
What are your thoughts on installing a catch can? I used them with my old 1.6T Veloster and also my i45 Hyundai but I keep hearing stories of causing restrictions with too-small diameter hoses with catch cans. Let me know if you have any opinions on the matter 😃 Cheers
There’s no straight forward answer for that question. I need one on my older performance forced induction vehicle’s. When I don’t have one in them I see a tiny difference in performance. What I do see is a lot less smoke coming from the exhaust with them. My Roush Truck and my NSRT4 love to smoke, I’m going to be buying a catch can for my truck here soon to reduce oil getting to my TB as it’s becoming a problem and leaning it out because of it. I’ve had a catch can on my NSRT4 for years and to me is necessary. I hope this helps.
Joining in on the fun! So any updates with the new install? What feels different when driving the car? Did the Stock ECM adjust where you feel sronger gain with the turbo inlet? Lastly where did you feel you lost power, low end.. mid… high? Appreciate you being the tester!
No updates yet, I had the dyno reserved and then work got in the way and they had to schedule weeks later. I’ll be going soon to get the numbers everyone wants too see. Yes the stock ECM adjusted just fine and I’m not throwing any check engine lights. I feel a slight lag in the bottom end which is too be expected but honestly not enough to notice. I noticed because I did pulls right before and right after. I don’t think I would of noticed if I hadn’t. You’re welcome and thank you for supporting me and the channel!
@@OxmanGarage Well it has already been dyno proven but with you going on the dyno you are an independent tester! My buddy seems to think that it would shift the power band which wouldn't be a bad thing because it might do something about The wheel hop going into 2nd gear but I have a dual clutch transmission though
@Klasse Act I trust the results shown, I just like seeing the results myself before saying something truly works. That’s all, nothing bad or anything. That’s not a bad thing at all either, I haven’t launched the car since the install to be honest so I don’t know if it’s helped with wheel hop.
Obviously the most critical part of video but all good another guy I started following did same intake and Put N mode on and rev the shit out of it turbo breaths a lot better way louder just ordered the non carbon do to the fact it heat soaks over time with carbon waiting for HKS Blow off valve also
@@ProjjectX that's cool, I have the Boomba Racing BOV that I haven't installed yet. I'll install that in the coming weeks, the latest mod I did which that video will come out Sunday was more of a visual mod than anything.
Yawn..what noise difference? A slight tap of the throttle isn't going to help the audience. ...personal statements of how the car feels isn't going to help either....you need to show us some pulls.... It's tiring to see all these car enthusiasts, buy all these car parts, but don't have the gonads to give their car a good kick to justify the change.

@@klasseact6663 I understand, but come on....a tap of the throttle and a statement of....oh it sounds so different.... It's not only this youtuber, who does this but many others following suit. @@alphamox7323 it's all about balance for some, perf and aestetic mods can be equally rewarding. Maybe he doesn't have a good enough mic but I mean this IS an enclosed intake with the SXTH Element logo cut out of the side, so I'm not really expecting a difference in sound here to be honest. I had a version of this intake on my 18' Elantra Sport and I can't say it sounded any different but there was a gain over the ES' stock intake though, the EN has a VERY well engineered intake and per SXTH Element themselves their intake DOES NOT make any more power unless you do that turbo inlet or tune.
Nice install man. I always love those simple mods that change the look/feel/performance of a car!
Thank you 🙏 I appreciate your kind words and totally agree! Everything adds up little by little!
The sxth turbo inlet pipe is pointless when it’s the same size as the oem pipe at the turbo!
Agree the stock unit is well made and works just fine it's not like 20 years ago when a CAI would give you what 5hp at the most.

@@OxmanGarage no problem man. Wish I had money to get the N. I have a 2023 N line
The N-Lines are nice and we all do what’s best for us! Enjoy the 2023!
Dope! But I need you to hit that gas pedal harder next time lol.
My bad lol
Does it void the warrenty?

Mpg difference? Does it sound loud on a cold start like a vaccum?
I haven’t seen a difference in MPG, still getting my high 30s and low 40s on long highway drives. Yeah there’s a little vacuum noise in the cabin.
Why don't you put just put a filter on right at the turbo and save the extra weight as well
Why would anyone do that? I want to pull the coolest air possible. The weight is minimal compared to heat soaking.

today install mine haha that inlet omg
Huh lol
I know your going to dyno soon, thank you for that but as of now what does the "butt dyno" have to say🤔
The butt dyno sees a difference for sure lol 😂
@@OxmanGarage would you say the power has shifted, say a little less low end and more mid/upper range?
I still have great low end, but I do see a mid range difference. I can’t wait to get the dyno numbers. See if it’s actual or if it’s just mental 🤣

Do you need a tune for this ?👀
No tune needed for this
I need that clamp removal tool asap, can you provide a link? That is an awesome tool I need!
Here is a link: amzn.to/3AUjGwX
do u need a tune for that intake and inlet?
No you don’t, I’ve been running it just fine without one. No check engine lights or anything out of the ordinary.
For me, the quieter, the better ❤️
It’s definitely quieter than an open intake
Not to be A D but you live up to your name quieter the better 😂🤣😂🤣
Omg lol 😂
should have used your thumbnail for the thumbnail am i right?
🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Can that fit Elantra 2023 sell airbox
2023 Elantra SEL? I don’t believe so because it’s a completely different setup. I’d recommend asking SXTH and they’ll have the real answer.
U barely reved it with new intake smh 🥱
