Back in the day I had a little water gun called the Gremlin, did something similar to it but keep the stock pump. Big mistake, but i do miss it now that I've seen this. Also so jelly of your saw and work space. The room is small and full of nerfy. LoL

So I work at my dads lawn care service and last year we went to one of the yards we do and they had a dumpster in front of the garage, and like any sensible person we took a look inside, and found about thirty nerf guns inside, including 2 of these and all four of the original vortex line

I found one of these at a thrift store. I didn't know that it was a constant pressure system soaker, even so I didn't realize you could make a pvc barrel for nerf applications :(
Cool, I have a Max D 3000, I completely forgot about mine until my dad showed me it in my backyard. It's pretty uncomftorable if you ask me.

honestly under 20 bucks...you kinda need to remember walcom different states and countries have different prices. PVC pipes here in Georgia cost me 15 per one and the cupplers are yes 79 cents roughly a dollar, but the blaster? most thrift stores like dollar general jack the pric up to about 20 or so and i had bad bad experiences with Ebay

i live in GEORGIA the nearest thrift store is in Atlanta buddy and my goodwills tend to suck ass, and i consider them a thrift store cause dude i found a LOT of boom-co items decently priced

ProtoBoo i know, point still stands with what i said dude. Different states different pricing and even then the pricing on thrift stores can be different for "cheap" items.

I also play paintball and I just have to say if you're gonna try to impress somebody at first sight I would at least paint it... neon orange and purple so intimidating
Sorry, didn't mean to frighten you. I know shooting spheres of neon paint can cause you to have some PTSD to bright colors.

I'm assuming you can get comparable power from other Max-D (giggity) blasters? I found a Max-D 3000 at a thrift store the other day and passed it up in favor of a TT Eliminator (the old Mega-chambered one) and a Proton, but I'm looking into making something that can shoot Demolisher missiles harder than Nerf's missile blasters (barring the Titan, of course) and easier to make than it is to find a Big Salvo for cheap. I figured an air compression blaster would be the way to go.
a long barrel would make it more powerful if the darts are a good fit
Mod it for a scope and boom sniper pistol if it can break cardboard so it can tag a guy in the face 18 meters away

um yea you can blow the tanks up on them and it stings a bit but is more supriseing then anything cause they are made to where when they fail they fail safely
personal experance had one i went to go after neighbors with it one day pumped it up and boom i took the full force of the air hitting me in the chest

how many darts can you load into the barrel till it doesn't fire.... and a longer cpvc barrel....
i've shot 4 at once in a foot long barrel, and it gets around elite ranges
