There's no use presenting a glider to a to the audience of RUclips which is 100% powerpower pilot all they know how to do is build with foam board and slap on a motor they have no understanding of thermals and they never will no matter how many times you explain it to them
Hi Andrew, i've just bought a RX6R receiver to use the SBUS port for flying my ZOHD dart 250, I've bound the reciever to my X9D plus taranis but when I try to connect the receiver to my darts kopilot it don't seem to connect to kopilot right, yet I have no problems using my X8R receiver via SBUS onto the kopilot, am forgetting to do something, could you help or advise me on what I should do? thanks for any advice. Dennis H
I wonder if you could give me some advice that so I have grx8 receive and a taranis both have the same non-european firmware and I'll try to bind it but no luck but on the frsky q7 it finds the first time so the receiver is working the other transmitter is not mine any ideas why it doesn't work
The boom area where the wing screws are needs beefing up, the spar will split in short order. I wrapped cotton thread and then added thin CA. Adds strength without adding much weight.
My DLG's all came like yours with the covering not shrunk to the right tension, BUT have learned that the change in location can have this effect. No big deal a swipe with a warm iron did the trick. Picking this would slope soar fabulously. Keep up the good work don't know how you find the time.
Like something from the Discovery Channel Andrew....How its made maybe...?..Nicely done..lol....It looks like too much dihedral to me, and does it really need Ailerons?
Geez your good at these videos, I was so looking forward to the flight at the end, I wait with anticipation for the flight video... "Same bat time, same bat channel!" Cheers Andrew👍😜
With all the dihedral this looks like a AE hacked from a RE base model. I have the G-RX8 that's going into a 2.5m Mace. Looks like a prime candidate for de-pinning. It really is time for a new plug standard for these miniaturised RX's. The DuPont plug system is way too big and bulky by today's standards. The SBUS input is potentially very handy. Remote mount a XM RX for link redundancy.
Andrew. please put some emphasis on the receiver. Is it any good compared to your Frsky standard vario or the sensitive vario ? Nothing like a real world test.

For sure another THUMBS UP! I would also re-subscribe, if I could...
Hey Andrew, thanks so much for another very informative well produced and instructive video. Please keep up the good work. Regards Alan.
how much is 1 unit?
why we need a BEC when using a 2s battery ?

Not 3 channel, it's 2 channel actually.

nice one drew that wing looks silky smooth :D
Excellent video!
Quite a big dihedral I think.

👌🏻
I'm interested in seeing what this will evolve into. I can't see it staying in its present form for very long ;-)

So aileron only but dihedral? Seems like a weird combination, sure they'd be fighting each other.
