I think this is the only piano review that has actually made me chuckle - you are a natural born entertainer! By the way, I came here to say the Grand Hybrids are fab pianos and we're doing our first piano competition using CELVIANO digital pianos only :)
Tried the piano today at the distributor in Switzerland (currently there is no dealer in the German-speaking part of Switzerland). And I have to say that the sound and touch is indeed incredible. I tried the Kawai CS11, Yamaha CLP-585 and Roland LX-17 earlier, and Casio was not on my radar before. But the more I read and see and listen, the more I can understand the emotions that people have when playing the GP500: Probably the best simulation of a grand piano available. By the way: Concerning the composer scene settings, there is one additional scene that you can choose that is not in the list. The "Ludwig van Beethoven" scene, being the power button. But that's a joke I used today when I had to go from that piano...
Thanks so much for your review of the casio 500/300 I'm listening to as many vids as possible to make a decision about buying the 500 model You should do more video reviews really enjoyed this would like to see hear more of the reverb effects for example Thanks again Alan
2:15 "They use the tri-sensor hammer action number 2 that Casio has been developing over the years". Nope. They don't. I understand that sentence to mean the "Tri-sensor Scaled Hammer Action Keyboard II" which is used in the Privias and Celvianos below these hybrid models whereas this is known as "Natural Grand Hammer Action". I just had to say it. :)

Sir ,
Nice review. Does the Lid ( Gp-300 ,Gp-500) has various levels of opening to sound more like a grand piano ?
Thank you.

Do you think the GP-500 is too overpriced? would it be more worth it to buy a model below them to pay less? i'm searching digital piano models
