It was meant to. It was created with the soul reason of showing the before and during the downfall but someone made the negative IQ decision to instead go timeskip routes trying to make it another version of the main show which no one asked for.
The old homeless man walker in the park at 0:33 as Travis drives by was always creepy af to me. The Operation Cobalt bombing and complete razing of Los Angeles hell scape scene at 3:17 of Season 2 Episode !was unbelievable. It’s still one of the best in TWD Universe. This was well put together.
M83's Midnight City Hits Different when you understand the writer's perspective and reason for even making the song. Story has it that M83 was homesicked and feeling deeply nostalgic bout the 80s, which was the era he grew up with. as a result, he wrote "Midnight City" and recorded the song using 80s Synthesizers and Drum Machines. The song is a sad one because it's about a person recalling his childhood memories. The same can be applied with the Fear characters witnessing the destruction of their "Midnight City" and feeling deeply nostalgic as the Apocalypse went, which is why I think that the goofy song suits the earlier seasons of Fear the Walking Dead (especially S1).
Great edit - it makes me feel nostalgic for Fear TWD's Seasons 1-3. I wish we got to see more of LA, as well as what happened to the rioters when the lights went out.
They sure did a heck of a show my faint memory the best one was when their cleaning up the resort as "Swept Away" by Future Islands started playing in the background....
This is nice, like the vibe. Wish they showed more chaos though. Perhaps some future show can re-focus on day 0 (or 1) but draw it out longer than brief flashbacks or so. Ideally would love to see a first responder (cop, swat) as they'd be the first to witness it or fight it before the military comes in so that gives you something to draw "out" in the early phase a bit. Risks putting another cop char in the center piece tho, giving Rick some early days competition. Then again, Rick wasn't really active then and in coma, so it would even out :D
I Had a Different Idea For S1, Episode 1 - 7 : The Fall Of Society, That Includes The Story of The Clarks, The Militaries' Point Of View, The Entire World. Episode 8 - 10 Is Basically Not Fade Away, Cobalt, And The Good Man.
Hopefully one day they’ll do a TWD spinoff like the Apple TV show Invasion and show The Fall from the perspectives of different people from different parts of the world and how everything starts breaking down from the infrastructure to government , what to do about the walkers etc. I think people would like that and not just that of the USA and Europe.
@@tbnone2501 well it also does require big budget with scenes like the military and big sets with extras and props which is why we didn’t see much of the military’s downfall in the original Walking Dead show because AMC didn’t give them enough budget even though the original director wanted to explore the downfall more including an episode dedicated to the soldier in the tank from episode 1 that Rick shoots.
Weird, I don't see any difference between this and actual Los Angeles, props to the directors for portraying the situation in Los Angeles so accurately!
one: GTA Online desperately needs the introduction of Undead Nightmare two: seeing LA with half its buildings burning and the other half in a state of complete chaos will always look amazing three: 1:28 look at those FUCKIN GAS PRICES 🤑
This show doesn’t make sense at all. It doesn’t show how this infection is airborne, which would’ve make the apocalypse more probable. And then how does the military lose to those zombies when they aren’t like in 28 Days Later, running fast as hell. They just walk in hoards. The Last of Us, 28 Days Later, The Saddening are better examples of a zombie apocalypse than TWD.
I thank God that this video is getting the attention that it deserves.
Thank you all for the great comments.
Great edit. I miss the old FTWD days so much. They showed the fall of Los Angeles so perfectly imo.
Hey! Thanks! U have an amazing content BTW!
I wish Fear showed more of the chaos in Los Angeles
AMC : I don't think so....

The Los Angeles parts felt so breaking bad like. Probably because of the camera angles.
Season 3 Is Breaking Bad But In a Zombie Apocalypse.

The music is literally perfect, especially at the end. What's a better sendoff to a city like LA than pop music 😂😂😂
We all just know Trevor Philips had something to do with the lights all going out
The best 🌝🤍🙏🏽
At least they were enjoying the moment

Vou ter que assistir Fear TwD de novo, vídeo muito bom...💪
All of season 1 shouldve been the fall

@@PaxBWithU89th they didnt had the budget for that
@@MCPE_YTMore like they needed better writers. Showing things falling apart didn’t need to be big budget, just well written stories.
