use the biblical word, Majesty, as stated in book of Hebrews, also stated in the definition of Elohim of old hebrew , a plurality of majesty, yet only one God,🙏🙏
That is not what Elohim means. When the Hebrew word Elohim is used and the verb before is singular Elohim is singular. It is plural as in the fact it can refer to angels, and other deities. Exodus 7:1 KJVS And the LORD said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god (Elohim)to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet. Here God uses the word for Moses. You can find the same use for others. It can refer to the Supreme God, or angels, or other gods, but it is not referring to them as a plurality.
I didn’t really intend to listen to this video, but I’m glad that I did. I am curious how those who hold to the oneness view reconcile it with those who hold to the Trinitarian view with regard to the transfiguration, as well as the baptism of Jesus, when the Holy Spirit was represented in the form of the dove and God the father‘s voice was heard.
Can you speak about the biblical emphasis on One God and the expression of God in Christ but continued distinctions between God and the Word (John 1:1: the Word was with God) and three that bear witness in heaven (1 John 5:7: the Father, the Word and the Holy Ghost) and the fullness of the Godhead in the body of Jesus Christ (Colossians 2:9). Thanks!
There’s a world of difference between what Barth is saying and what you all are saying. Barth is not saying that the God of Israel takes the form of the Son, the Father, and the Spirit. All He is saying is that the “Son of God” can be a stand in for all the other members of the Trinity, not ontologically but in representation.
God prophesied in Is 28:14-15 the Romans would create a falsehood and lies and hide themselves within it. No, this chapter is not about the Assyrians coming and taking the Jews captive. Assyrians cannot be the diadem, and they cannot teach God's precepts. This prophecy is where he chose to use speaking in tongues when one is filled with the Holy Ghost. Assyrians cannot do that either.
All Trinitarians believe Jesus is God. If you want to honestly and intellectually criticize Trinitarians show Barth saying that Jesus is the father incarnate. We are not Arians. We don't believe in subordination.
The teaching of the trinity teaches subordination. I heard when I was in the trinitarian churches. Jesus is God , but he is not the Father, the Father is God , but He is not the Son, and the Holy Spirit is God, but He is not the Father or the Son is another teaching. God’s word must not have anything added to it, and we add to it by saying he is 3 in 1 persons. This is not scripture.
@@hayleyclements1737 - the doctrine of the Trinity - that was brought before the Council of Nicea - and was ultimately dogmatized in subsequent Councils … specifically addressed the heresy of Arianism - which attempted to lessen Church’s teaching concerning Jesus Christ… Jesus is Fully Man - AND - Fully God… the Arian controversy was making Christ God out to be a ‘created being’ and likened him to an angel. No one then, and no Orthodox Christians believe in a teaching as Oneness Pentecostals purport as the Holy Trinity. Perhaps a study of Sts John Chrysostom, Gregory the Theologian, and Basil the Great - their commentary harshly rebukes modern day JWs teachings and completely defends Jesus Christ is God - of One Essence AND Undivided … Light from Light, very God of very God. Most of what you have been indoctrinated to think is ‘Trinitarianism’ - is completely foreign to the True Church - and has never been part of the teachings and traditions of the Ancient and Unbroken Church. The Constantinople Creed succinctly breaks down the teachings and understanding of who Christ God is… God with Us.
Jesus is the phyisical representation of God the father
use the biblical word, Majesty, as stated in book of Hebrews, also stated in the definition of Elohim of old hebrew , a plurality of majesty, yet only one God,🙏🙏
That is not what Elohim means. When the Hebrew word Elohim is used and the verb before is singular Elohim is singular. It is plural as in the fact it can refer to angels, and other deities. Exodus 7:1 KJVS
And the LORD said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god (Elohim)to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet.

@justin Does God have the power to cause His voice to be heard from above? God is Spirit and His Spirit is Holy. Is His Spirit a Dove?
Why do we need Barth to show you. It’s in the Bible, The Son clearly says the Father dwelleth in him and that he speaks and does the works.
The teaching of the trinity teaches subordination. I heard when I was in the trinitarian churches. Jesus is God , but he is not the Father, the Father is God , but He is not the Son, and the Holy Spirit is God, but He is not the Father or the Son is another teaching. And yes it changes from church to church. Not very well thought out. One God
The Greek word Kai is translated as and, it is John 17:11 in the Greek text.
I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name, the name you gave me, so that they may be one as we are one.
Jesus = YHVH
Even or that is. The word And does not mean another person. Matt 28:19 says NAME singular which is Jesus. All you have to do is read through acts and notice when they mentioned baptism. Jesus is considered the Lamb of God, the King of Kings, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the High Priest. And you believe that, but you don’t believe that One God can be all of that and more.
Isaiah 44:6-8 KJVS
[6] Thus saith the Lord the King of Israel, and his redeemer the Lord of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God. [7] And who, as I, shall call, and shall declare it, and set it in order for me, since I appointed the ancient people? and the things that are coming, and shall come, let them shew unto them. [8] Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it ? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any.
Revelation 1:7-8 KJVS
[7] Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. [8] I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
There can’t be two first and last.
Isaiah 9:6 KJVS
[6] For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Why is Jesus called / Identified as the Mighty God, and the everlasting Father?
1 Timothy 3:16 KJVS
[16] And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
God put on flesh, and became as a man.
Colossians 2:8-9 KJVS
[8] Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. [9] For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. Jude 1:25 KJVS

All that God is resides in the Body of Jesus.
Acts 20:28 (NKJV) 28 Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.
God is Spirit. How does a Spirit have blood? There is no remission of sin without the shedding of blood.
So God produced a human body to be sacrificed for the payment of sin for all.
Well over 300 times the singular pronoun is used when speaking of God. The Greek Τριάδα is translated trinity. Not once is it used by the Apostles, nor of the OT writers. The OT is clear that ONE God was taught, then after the Apostles died He changed His mind?

John 14:21 KJVS

Notice the pronoun He not them. Jewish religion only taught strict monotheism. Trinity is not monotheism.
You are criticized by some because many trinitarians have different explanations. Some without realizing explain oneness.
At 6.00 minutes we all agree it is bringing it all around to Christ. Stop there no need for argument……. ( but ) here is where it all goes wrong the oneness point of view now Denies the trinity point of view of father son and Holy Ghost. There is the problem the denial of someone who believes in the father son and Holy Ghost. And saying that there baptism is not right. But if they under stood there is no contradiction in scripture Jesus said baptize in the name of father son and Holy Ghost. Peter said Jesus name. There is no difference but when you deny peoples baptism there is the problem.
Which " god" Jesus revelead? In your theory it means that Jesus revealed himself. Where is Elohim YHWH in your theory, the fellowship of Holy Father, Holy Son and Holy Spirit.
See here’s the thing Jesus directly claims to be YHWH
He also claims to be the Holy Spirit
And further more just to put the cherry on top. Who is Jesus biological father according to the gospels?
One God
