    Thank you for the point about different cities having different requirements. I cannot stress it enough. Even within the same office, two immigration officers can ask for slightly different documents. If you feel you qualify, just go there and apply. I know someone who got his PR (Niederlassungserlaubnis) after just 16 months on a blue card because he already had B1 and had already been paying Rentenversicherung (Penson insurance) for 6 months as a werkstudent (working student), before he started his blue card job.

    you should have gone in the woods Black Forest (Schwarzwald) with your GoPro and This Desi Friend of yours. Twigs and leaves cracking under your feet when Sun is rising, then Sun is high, noon, then sunset time walk through dense forest, another walk after dark with lanterns. Then you both should camp there and you two should sit there around bonfire in Black Forest (Schwarzwald). Hey, needed update information after three years.
    1: Language certificate requirement is fixed now and also the list of eligible institutions or it still depends on the city whether they just take interview or certificate. Btw, I live in NRW?
    2: I also started my blue card job e.g. in March, but my blue card was issued in mid of May. It took 2.5 months to get appointment, they told me to work on my student allowed 120 full days till appointment as I was changing my status from student to BC. So my 21 months will start from march or mid of May? I am afraid if I go on appointment and they say your 21 months is not completed :(
    3: When you recommend me to apply for appointment as it now take 1.5 month to get appointment, should I apply for appointment 1.5 month before my 21 months completion or I can only apply for appointment after I complete 21 months?

    Can you explain a bit about when you said " Blue card and then PR which entitles that we are no longer connected with the company and we can do job wherever we want? That means Blue card as long as you hold then you are fixed with the company and if you lose the job then you have to find a job within 3 months else you have to go back, if one has PR then he/she will be safe? The requirement from Blue card to PR could you explain a bit please?

    • @DesiInWonderland
      @DesiInWonderland  4 года назад

      Well Bluecard is a limited Visa and with that you get a green paper where your employer name is written which means you can only work with your employer and if you change the job then you should inform ABH and they will issue you the new green paper. As it is a limited visa which is linked to the job so if you lose your job then your visa can't be extended as you no longer have the job. This is not the case with PR, with PR you are not linked with any employer so even if you lose your job you can still live in Germany. And take as much time as you want to find a new job or start your own business...

    However based on the appointment availiblity for Blue card, I got the Blue card and the date issued is on 17th January 2021.

      You need to go to Ausländerbehörde for it. As you already have the PR before then I would assume that the process would be quite straight forward.... There will be no security check this time... To be honest, I don't know exactly but that is my assumption

For example in Berlin they are not distinguishing in the form which one you are applying for, and it seems the date requirements are a little different. • @DesiInWonderland
      @DesiInWonderland  3 года назад +2

      Well this is a very rate situtaion so I really don't know what to expect in this case. I would recommend that ask your company that you need a letter which clearly states that you got hired due to yourvalue experience in the field and the degree of such field is not required. this way, even if foreign office create an issue then this letter can help you get around it, because you can argue that when I work here in GErmany, I pay taxes and indirectly I will be contributing to the GERMAN system and even though you wil be small part of that system but still company hired you on the basis of your experience and they couldn't able to find anyone with the degree or such experience. In short, if your comapny supports you then you can get a visa easily or you also hire a immigration lawyer for it if things go south

    Did you also appear for naturalization exam to apply for PR? Information is not very clear.. some articles says only A1 language certificate is required after 33 months and some articles says I'd also need naturalization certificate (which states, applicant holds enough basic information about the country). As I understand, naturalization is needed when applying for Citizenship only. This is getting bit confusing.. is naturalization certificate needed if I am applying for PR after 33 months or not?

    • @DesiInWonderland

      Actually I already did integration course that's why I don't have to but I heard that in some cities the Foreign office specifically ask for naturalization exam (einburgertest). I heard that they change few rules in March 2020 and now according to that. You need einbugertest for PR but that is completely upto the person who is handling your case... sometimes they can exempt it ..

      If yes, then usually Phd Students don't get blue card because they are not earning Bluecard salary. So usually they get normal working visa . Sometimes, they get a researcher visa, it all depends on the type of contract.
